Some guys wanted to play squad but hat too potato a PC do do it. they decided not to buy a better PC but instead to develop a whole game to run on their current system. Pro gamer move 10/10.

Having finished the game after 45hrs, I want to say that this game is very niche. The difficulty is brutal and there is almost no guidance to controls, interactions, or behaviors. This is not like any other genre, its is a game where you play as an animal in an ecosystem of animals. Nobody is there to tell you how to live and nothing has it out for you specifically, there are no "enemies". This game is very much a unique experience and I would recommend you buy it if these aspects of the game sound interesting to you.

There are no upgrades to your character throughout the game, you will only get stronger as your own skill and knowledge improves. That being said, looking up anything will spoil the progression of the game, think borderlands but you start with the strongest shields and guns. This isn't to say that looking things up is bad though. If you are at the point where you can not find any reason to keep playing because you are lost, stuck, or just cant find enough food, that would be the point where you should look up answers. The game is best played when you look up as little as possible and still beat the game. I hope this wall of text helps

This truly is a survival game. If you can accept that death and starvation can carry a HEAVY price, this is going to be a great game. The drive for survival forces you to play risky.

I was unable to collect enough food one night and needed to eat twice the normal amount the next day. My desperation to eat left me pixels away from death getting chased by a lizard through pipes as i tried to outmaneuver it. I had eventually escaped and made my way back to the food. That time delay meant the rain had started to pour and all of the bat flies were burrowing for the storm. I only had one chance to pounce and i waited just for the right moment when one dove to burrow and I got it. I made my way back to the shelter with seconds to spare. I needed that last bat to survive, if i had messed up that last jump or made one mistake with that lizard, that would have been it.

10/10 Would starve again (it's bound to happen)

I stole one of the two Heavy AT classes from the team for my first few weeks of playing... I missed every shot

I like to play games for the story just as much as the gameplay and this has got both. If you get past the graphics, this game makes you think about your health as more than just a rechargeable shield as you need to get health packs to get health back. On top of that, the fact that there are no grenade warnings has you find yourself diving on the floor whenever you hear the ping of those dreaded stick grenades. Because of these, this game is one of the easiest to get immersed in.

half way through the last mission, 30 planes on both sides fight thousands of feet in the air and im in a boat shooting flak in the air hoping that i dont kill a friendly with flaming planes plumiting into the sea around me

I just wanted to say to all people that don't like this game, war thunder is a more realistic game and is free. I personally think that it is NOT A PAY-TO-WIN. Also i played this game off the internet but forgot my password years ago, I thought it was the best computer game ever but things change.

By far my most favorite game on steam, even without paying any money
