The setup and design are appealing, but the controls are a mess. Add to that the fact that the weapon crosshair is so small that I can't see where I'm aiming (1,5 meters distance from the screen give or take, I have no problem playing Halo for example).

Perhaps it's meant to be played with keyboard instead of a gamepad, so take this review as not recommended from someone who tried to play with a gamepad and didn't really enjoy the experience at all.

Sonic's dead. But is he really "dead"? Luckily you can't "die" by failing the mini games.

Awesome game with classic and modern Sonic mechanics, with a collection of different Sonic game acts remade. The story is not bad at all considering that they had to create an excuse for those different acts, although the final boss battle is really chaotic the first time you get to it (pro tip: dash all the time and switch to classic only when the boss beams the laser, then return.).

I'm not a fan of collectables though, the Red Rings were a pain already in Sonic 4 episode 2, and just like that time, I got the chievo thanks to the video tutorials that show exactly where they are located. Friends also give you their location when you talk to them about Red Rings.

Planet WISP acts are weird until you get used too, specially the classic Sonic stage. That transformation really kills the flow of the game IMO. Challenges make the playtime increase by a lot, and if you want to play even more, just S rank everything, challenges included (not necessary for the S rank achievement -only the acts count).

As of now, online achievements still work, although it may glitch and crash the game when you try to select a stage (Chemical Act2 in my case, thanks God it glitched when saving once I finished it and it counted, because I couldn't even select it afterwards).

I liked 3001 Milf Odyssey, but didn't find the first chapter of The Galactic Harem Handbook good in comparison. Now this second chapter is even worse than the first one in my opinion.

Several of the characters are too weird looking, grotesque, even. The writing feels AI made and is too long and crude.

I don't recommend this chapter, in hopes that future releases improve. Come on, XCentric, you can do better than this!

I got all the achievements for this game back in Xbox360 times, but I swear I forgot everything about it. Somehow I expected to see some stages from Sonic 3 & Knuckles. It's a good game, although I admit I prefer Sonic 4 Episode 1, but I know it's an unpopular opinion.

I would have loved to play Sonic 4 Episode 3, it's a pity that they cancelled it.

Pro tips: Get "Ring Collector" while farming "I love Tails" in Special Stage 1, the second character will place itself just in the left ring row and you can get the right one at the end of the first section. Also, you need to memorize the rings pattern enough to do the first two sections using boost (press and hold X on the Xbox controller). The last section can be done at normal speed.

Also, in Special Stage 7, if the first two sections are almost perfect and the looping is done right (boost + press left at the start of the loop), I got 507 rings at the end of the second section, and you need 500 rings at the end of the third section, so the third section is just enough to not mess it up completely.

I completed all the achievements back in the day on Xbox360, and I decided to do it again on Steam. It's exactly like I remember it, it aged pretty well. I like this game.

I had to repeat a perfect run 5 to 7 times for the Untouchable achievement because the final punch from above at the very end always messed everything up for me. It's pretty easy with a bit of practice if not for that RNG move.

I had to install Java to run it, but I have no problem with that.

Continues the story right after the first season, so far, so good.

Let's see how the story unfolds, but I miss the times when games were released completed instead of through seasons. Indie game developers have to pay their living expenses while they make their games, so in those cases it's kind of justified, as long as they don't milk the users too much, I guess.

Good story and characters. I would've liked to go further with Pam and Lisa, but I guess I didn't choose the routes wisely xD

Trix, Piper and Elaine are best girls.

I played it in fifth place because I've been playing the games in Steam's release order, but this one is a remake of the first game in the series and thus should be the first to be played (the story continues from one game to the next in order).

Tamsoft is the king of fanservice done right.

edit: I got the Limited Edition and all DLC. From the point of view of someone that already has played the sequels, the Yumi and Miyabi character campaings are pretty cool, since they are the origin of some events that will unfold in the sequels. Really worth it.

This is the sequel of "Master of the Earth". The first game is also on Steam, and I should have played it before this one, although it's not really necessary.

It has a lot of content, it has also some grind but is bearable, some side quests that are very good, and the 3D models are thicc and gorgeous. There is one path that you may miss (I did), but I make a lot of saves, so you would want to save just before you make a deal about Gertrude with the giantess.

At the time of this review, achievements don't work.
