I never understand how people enjoy this entry, it does not feel like bioshock in the slightest. The combat is not satisfying knowing that i have killed everyone with a sound cue alerting me, as opposed to the constant state of panic not knowing if more splicers are lurking. The atrocious gun play is another miss for me, if you were able to implement carrying all weapons in burial at sea why not in the main game? It was a waste of all the "unique" guns which is very generously giving a compliment considering the shotgun and heater are the same model as much as the repeater and machine gun just seemed very lazy & lackluster considering past iterations of the game with weapon design. Also having stealth be the almost all encompassing way of playing BAS is also not bioshock with specific tonics and play styles it was optional, but at least having a choice to combat enemies that way was why the originals are always miles above infinite in my opinion. Infinite is just another fps action shooter using the name of one the of most innovative and creative games ever made, "Close the Tear" where this game came from and never open it again.

Best Game Ever The Classics are always Top Notch, I am a Huge RE Nut and Resident Evil 4 is my go to game endless replay ability and it will be a game that is untouched by time and can always be enjoyed. The Charm,
and The Cheese will have you enjoying every minute of every play thru it has for me for so long and in my book its The King of Survival Horror.

Finally finished my first play through and tbh I'm disappointed i went into this so ready to love this being its one of my favorite games but whether its the charm or lack there of, possibly the new mechanics adding to my dislike of the game just not sure. All in all I never had the emotional connection like with the original especially when it came to the set pieces and intense moments which is super unfortunate for me. It looks great, plays like a great 3rd person survival horror shooter but for me but I will definitely be returning to the beloved 2005 RE4 the true Resident Evil in my eyes.

I guess I could recommend the game for the look and the idea, if i could ever play doesn't seem the best for new players if you don't have friends of your own its tough trying to join random lobbies unfortunately.
