I don't see why people think it's bad. I played it and it was a good experience just like all the other paid and non-paid DLCs. And I played on impossible mode and think it could have been more difficult.

I want to like this game but there are several issues with it that are really, really bad and I just cannot overlook them. They are a complete eyesore that ruins what would otherwise be a great game.

1) Too many bugs. Even when I hadn't collected all the employee's brains, Dr. Iyana said I had. Then I went to deposit a few more and the game promptly crashed. There's the two underwater gates that are only passable if you're quick and I got stuck in the jaws of one of them as it was closing and then got stuck there. Numerous other ones but these are the most infamous.

2) Boss fights are too easy. Equip the healing-spikes charm and the blaster boosters and then just hit the boss - heal - hit - heal and you can win most of them first time. No dodging or memorization of patterns needed. Even works on the final boss. I understand that some people like easy bosses so you should follow what Hollow Knight did because this game copies a lot from HK. Make a harder version of the boss but make it optional - in the case of a dream in Hollow Knight.

3) Boss fights are easy but some of the platforming is insanely hard. And it is mandatory too because you need some augments to reach the upper switch in the water area with green walls. If there is a platforming section then follow what Hollow Knight did and give infinite health for those sections through charms and restorative features.

The game has some potential but too many negatives spoil the positives.

I haven't finished it yet but from what I've played so far, my addictionometer is way off the charts. Seriously - right up there with the likes of Hollow Knight, Nine Sols and Ori. It is just so brilliantly written with beautiful flow, mechanics, balance and graphics. An underrated gem that deserves to be played by every metroidvania fan.

Very good game. I solved it on my 3rd playthrough. Only complaint is that pen and paper is needed to take notes. All conversations and inspections should be recorded. If that was done I might have solved it faster.

Mostly a very good game and certainly a lot better than Vengence. The balancing on the early levels of impossible was terrible because there was no restrictions but apart from that this is the Kingdom Rush that I've grown to love.

People might say that it lacks content and that it is not worth the price. Ironhide is always like this - very good content but it comes at a price. I guess they're really only going to get people who have money to burn buying their games then. But it took me 40 hours to complete the whole game including the campaign on veteran and then every stage on impossible without a guide - so that's content enough for me.

Despite some questionable "answers", it is still quite good.

Spare a thought for the poor bunnies being chased by that monster.
