I was walking north with my companion to check out the landscape. Got attacked by cannibals, ready to be eaten at the stake, cannibals got killed by cannibal hunters who picked us up, they got killed by other cannibals. cannibals left us to die. Was laying there with my companion waiting for some nomads to heal me. On the horizon I saw a very long neck. ( ( Beak Things ) ). A badass fight between beak things and bonedogs. Bonedogs won. Got eaten by Bonedogs. 10/10

I managed to get France excommunicated from the church and got the pope to launch a crusade against them. 10/10

didn't play it much, just an hour or two but seems like it's pretty grindy

I've played Mount and Blade: Warband since 2014, got over 1000 hours in it and it's one of my favorite games. I've been waiting for this game since 2014 and god am I not disappointed. I would say that pretty much everything in this game is an improvement from Warband along with a whole lot of new mechanics to make the game feel more epic and fun. Taleworlds really hit the spot when they took inspirations from mods for warband. But still, it is an early access so there are problems to be expected, but judging by their daily patch notes it seems they're working hard on fixing the problems as fast as they can. I would recommend it to anyone who like RPG, Strategy, building up an army, joining kingdoms or becoming a bandit etc., but just know that at it's current state, if you have 8gb and below ram it will lag immensely. Luckily this is only a problem in Singleplayer Campaign and not in custom battles and multiplayer, though the developers has told us that they are working on it and I'm trusting them to fix it.

I still remember buying the whole pack of this game back in 2014 on a sale when I barely even knew about it. I haven't regretted that buy a single nano second since I bought it. then I jumped from the original to warband and was blown away. it is THE best game of the decade in my honest opinion.
there's so much to do in this game once you get into it, there's tons of mods that completely overhaul the game like say you can play in the lord of the rings world, game of thrones world, completely self made fantasy worlds, other historical times and the list just goes on.

the graphics isn't the best, though to be honest, what can you expect when 2 people made the original game. the graphics may not me realistic but it's smooth, it's not uncomfortable to look at the slightest, and that's all you really need when the gameplay is just fantastic. if you're looking for a strategy roleplay game to get immersed in and just forget about time this is definitely the game for you.

also, even though I almost only play single player, multiplayer is also a 10/10 for me. now I'll be waiting for bannerlord coming in march hopefully
