Howdy. For once, I can make a review on a game that I don't have thousands of hours in, to represent the "average" person take.

This game ~really~ lacks...something. Consistency? Playable time? It makes it impossible to get into, let alone to get good at.

Servers are limited to 25 people, and there doesn't seem to be much of an incentive for hosting a server. If the intent is to start small, and limit costs as a dev...then you could have an "official" server list, to represent servers that are presenting the "base game" experience. No mods, admin restrictions, whatever. When you're able to get into a server that isn't full, you're met with the consistency and playable time issues. There's no AI, so your experience is entirely dependent on the people you're playing with and against. But there are...only 25 people total, allowed on a server. So the chances that you're going to have a ~garbage~ time...are really high. Also, the chances that you'll die immediately...very high. So getting good at certain aspects of the game...good luck.

This game would ~seriously~ benefit from multiple game modes, that each "match" could cycle between. Have a mode where the match doesn't have a predetermined "end", and people simply respawn as something random, randomly in the facility when they die. Have a mode where it's only prisoners, against SCP's. Capture the flag between MTF and Chaos, where the prisoners are the "flags"...and SCP's are there to mess with people. Add basic, cookie cutter AI to the game...that can soak up some of the ~emptyness~ of playing on a server with only a few people online.

This game is probably just an "experience" generator at this point, for the devs. Inevitably, there's a proper studio to move on to...or a proper game to make. It'd just be cool, to add a bit more replayablity...and longevity through design decisions.
