In the short hours I've played this game I was immediately in love with it. Game play is truly brilliant had so many laughs and hype moments well worth the wait for the release and your money. Had so much fun that I didn't care if I lost there was just too much funnies to have. Before even going into game you are shown a preview on how to play it is very lovely feature for newbies. And yes you can make a custom server and use bots you don't always need friends to play and good settings to choose from even choose the bot's AI hardness level.

My top 3 favourite maps are:
The train (My number 1 and I totally own it like a boss)
(American) Football.
Hockey.

Best weapons that are totally your best friend (in order of best to worse):
Nunchucks.
Crossbow (Not the one that fires plungers).
Freeze gun.
Taser gun.

Best game I've played in a long while totally worth it!

Is totally worth buying to play it 'Lets game it out' style to make you laugh at the ever building number of bodies and no one realising the obvious lack of guests is too funny.

Love the game only things I'm not liking is:
- In offline mode I can bring up the pause menu but not actually pause the game.
- Friendly fire is ridiculous when my team of stupid bots keep walking into my line of fire or just standing there with the auto turrets shooting them.
- Really hate that my team stands there while I'm helplessly pinned down and get killed off, much less come to revive me.
- Only little annoyance is there's either more secondary than primary weapons laying around or the other way around is not very balanced.

Because it's not an option I'm actually 50-50 on recommending people this game.
But keeping it more or less simple.
VVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVV

Pros:
1) As a killer it feels great if you get a lucky round some times a rough line of them of predicting players movements around the place and it all pays off. I didn't like playing killer at first as I had a really bad start with players bullying me and I'd be lucky to get a single kill out of a dozen rounds as killer so I stuck with survivor for a long while as I got more wins. It's only just recently I got back into being killer and it turns out there is a possibility to have just gotten a few real good rounds only had several where I took out all survivors.

2) As a survivor it's certainly funny to spectate survivors bugging the killer. Great when you get enough coins to buy perks that will help survive a killer chase I try not to risk fixing a generator without at least 1 good perk.

3) On the discussion section other than reporting bugs, other oddities in the game or enquiring about certain aspects of the game which no one answers on those questions. I suggest improvements every now and then and get nice replies from the developers like the one I suggested recently was to have an "Abandoned prison" map to play in and their reply word for word "Abandoned prison - sounds great! A map like this would look awesome, thank you for the suggestion." My post on that suggestion here: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/app/1549180/discussions/0/3192493519715161295/

Cons:
1) As a killer expect 70%-90% <===(These rounds vary but you get a roughly nice line of decent rounds then all of a sudden the OP skilled players come on and the whole fun goes to hell really fast) of rounds played to put up with OP skilled players to bully you left, right and centre with bonking you on the head, flashing cameras in your face to stun you spite not even being anywhere around you, but all working together one right after the other in a row and there's no avoiding it as you can't see anything even if you are highly skilled. There's no way you can keep a survivor in the hypnochair long enough to claim them as the others will gang up on you with huge props and once they bonk you they've already won. Now before you may think "You say you enjoy watching the killer get bugged but when it's you, you're a hypocrite." Well I say it's fun sure, but not when it gets excessive as often as it does, you know a quick flash maybe a quick bonk but not reoccurring several dozen times it gets old to me even from a survivors point of view, you don't kick people when they're down. There's having fun and then there's being a classic school bully stereotype.

2) As a survivor forget it if you're a noob other competitive survivors who think they own everything even if they're alive or died in game they have ludicrous expert expectations of you if you don't match up they will have ago at you, call you retarded and say you did nothing even if you've fixed a good 2-3 generators the whole round like they've apparently been keeping perfect track of you through out the round and spite the fact the killer keeps conveniently going to the generator you're trying to go fix up as you get there. There are 7 generators but only need to fix 5 and there are 4 survivors to do it with fixing 2-3 on your own is pretty decent.

3) Overall there are a lot of bugs, toxic players, cheaters and hackers although I come across very few hackers but many cheaters and way too many toxic players. Bugs are a bother at times especially when players are exploiting, but they're getting fixed slowly but surely. What's confusing to me is how from a killer perspective survivors makes it look waaaaaay too easy to bonk a killer even with small props which usually is harder. Yet from a survivor perceptive I am literally jumping up landing perfectly down on their head big or small prop and I keep getting downed by the time I get a lucky bonk which most the time I don't get the bonk, makes zero sense.
As this game has been out since early December last year the game is still in need of balance between being too killer sided as appose to being too survivor sided I can only imagine what strain the developers might be experiencing what with the dropping of player count from over 4,800 players to now half and somewhat dropping still. Even though I feel they're somewhat close to a good balance I have my doubts that it'll ever be balanced to me in future.

To keep it short:
If you are absolutely sure you can put up with highly skilled toxic players but have great patience to wait for a great round to come around then get it. I pay attention to the steam graphs of the game here: https://steamdb.info/app/1549180/graphs/ So as to help predict a good time which I assume is when the top chart's player count is on the rise. I personally will only play every now and then unless some good updates come along of which case I will test out the new features and play a bunch of rounds but if the toxic players come on I'll leave it a day or two maybe more at times and again hopping I join at a good time. This is a game with a great concept and fun quality to it but jerk players aren't in short supplies.

It's best to play with friends or find a group of people.

I'm sure other people have a completely different concept of the game but keep in mind I'm not stating everything I've said as fact just opinion based on experience.

In the short time I've played it I highly recommend this game.

Good game of the wits and psychological reasoning to work out who is who. You will get unbelievably dumb people here and there who may vote you as the impostor just because one idiot say it's you without giving a reason. and impostors will sometimes frame you so you get voted out. This don't happen too often in my book so I mostly get good games.

Even at times when I do lose the round I enjoyed the rounds intensely when you find out you were wrong about some people or if they're wrong about you and they stay with the server you can rub it in their faces in the chat about you being right. It a good game to make you feel so evil as impostor when you've persuaded people to kick innocent players. Yet as a crew member make you feel like Sherlock when people co-op with you to defend each others innocence.

This is my 1st review out of over 50 steam games I own that is how worth it this game is. But you don't have to take my word for it you be the judge of that.
