I love this little game so much. Its a great idle game to have on while I'm at work too.

Its challenging as when things go wrong there is not always and easy fix and you often have to survive a few boom and bust cycles to get well established. I usually play on medium or hard mode and every time I play Im sucked in for a good 4-5 hours at least. It's aged well. Plays well on laptops and theres lots of mods if you want more content. Obviously its 10 years old now. Not a lot of updates which is a shame as itd have been nice to have some content for the 10th anniversary, but then the fact people are still playing it 10 years later just goes to show what a solid game it is and how hard it is to beat. Its a game which got it right by focusing on keeping the people working in your town happy to continue growth.

This is a really realistic horse game.

Fr though. I've not been this invested in a game for a while and will be playing red dead redemption 1 as soon as I can. The story is gripping and thoroughly enjoyable. The game mechanics are brilliant. As a horse girl and not very intense gamer this game is amazing and I love it and is one of the few I will definitely replay and I cannot wait to explore red dead online as I have only played the story so far.

If there is ever a red dead 3, rockstar wont be able to take my money fast enough.

P.s. online leaves something to be desired though.

This game is a short story focused decision making game with multiple endings.

Loved the bright & beautiful graphics and played through it in 7 hours. It was really fun to play and I love short but sweet games like this.

Okay so I like this game.

Things I like:
The focus on animals over crop harvesting. Its more fun and is true to proper ranches.
I like the animal types. Each one is unique and has lots of different things to do.
I like the automatic feeders.
I like the horses the auction system. I love the building system too I think its fun to see the building be assembled.
I like the automatic element to it

Things I don't like:
- Not having a wooden or mud floor in the barn. Itd be nice if when you placed the barn that it clears the grass. Grass wouldnt grow in the barn at it annoys me so much.
- Not being able to mix and match the build pieces together.
- the new textures. The old ones looked nicer
- Can be a bit glitchy in game.

Improvements I'd like to see:

I really do want to see this game just really really nail the animal side of things. Animal breeding. heck include a stats system for breeding quality in the future. Have traits like size (Which affects meat), fertility, (no. offspring) hardiness (how long they live). I'd love to see an auction system for ALL the animals not just horses. I'd like to see sheep and goats in the future too.

Looking forward to the animal naming. It would be nice to get things like leather from the cows to make saddles and things so you can really really focus on the ranch side of things. Even having like a tourist option where tourists come for rides or lessons on the horses.

I hope the graphics shading on the animals will improve in the future as it is a bit of a struggle sometimes. I look forward to the animal breeding too, I just hope they make it a bit more in depth as it could be fun to breed for certain traits to get more profitable animals.

I hope we get sheep and sheep dogs in the future. Again you could breed dogs to get better herding qualities etc.

I would like the option to buy more land or have some of the starting land blocked off so you have to buy more to expand the ranch.

Overall I'd give it a 7/10 very enjoyable but a fair bit of room for improvement.

This a fun exploration game. I play with my partner and the storyline is interesting also
