Welcome to the Metro, an underground link of huge communities gathered in Russia after a Nuclear Apocalypse, because aliens just wanted to visit us, you play as Artyom, a survivor of the apocalypse and having a special ability to communicate to the "Dark Ones" a subspecies of aliens that are misunderstood and are now trying to survive in this world too. I will not spoil too much of this game, because it is good but this is probably the most beautiful FPS I've played, the story is really good too. It has a lot of morals, I haven't completed it yet but I have a friend who has and the dialogue is intriguing and the characters are really compelling. I really do recommend this to people who love games like this, a Sci-Fi FPS much like Half-Life and Half-Life 2 except there are less puzzles and more morals to choose. (Much like Telltale's Walking Dead, where your choice affects the outcome of your survival and whether you will be respected as an indivisual) and you actually have to be stealthy, you can't run in willy nilly like in most games, even Half-Life you can run in some times without a plan, a lot of the time you have to scope out your enemy and every shot counts. Again, I recommend this game so it'd be a smart investment to pick up this game and start playing as soon as it's downloaded. :)

Amazing, I can defintley tell the difference when playing HL2 and this, graphics are good, I love how when you swim underwater there are effects, love the lighting too. You can also see the skin is way more enhanced on the people.

Ah the birth of the Half-Life series, a good one I must say. I really do enjoy this game as I have not played this on Steam but it is a very, very good game. Love the 1999 graphics and audio and I love how Half-Life is such a good game. You don't come across games like this often and I must say, opening a resonance cascade into another dimmension is pretty scary and having to escape to the surface was scary as well. Even for a game made in the 20th century! Yes, I do recommend this game if you have only played the sequel too, pick this up it will make so much more sense once you're plopped into into Half-Life 2 and so on. This is the beginning of a man and his crowbar, and the beginning of a new world as we know it.

Amazing, simply beautiful puzzle game. The story is intriguing at least, the co-op is brilliant and well-designed I can look at what my partner is seeing which is pretty damn sick! I am in LOVE with the soundtrack. This game will keep you going on and on until you're ravished and even then your brain will be hooked to the never ending labryinth of puzzles. Whether you are a puzzle fan or not (I am not that good with puzzles myself) I still find this game challenging and even the smartest people I know on the internet found this game challenging at best. I am blown away by the amazing job Valve has done with their newer games.

If you're looking for a good zombie beat em up, look no further then Left 4 Dead 2. This game has taken a huge step from their bots in Left 4 Dead 1, of course people are saying that the Left 4 Dead 1 survivors are better and every map is in nighttime but I'd rather have reliable bots because everytime I would finish a campaign Francis would die from shooting a Witch. They've upped their game and with all these new gamemodes, I'm overwhelmed at what I should choose first. Also, a big kudos to the modding community at the workshop. I now have over 40 addons alone due to so many fun mods! I can have Regular Infected be martians or teletubbies, I can have many maps to choose from and many reskins for my survivors and my weapons! Counter-Strike styled and DOOM weapons? You really need to get this game! The Versus mode is also amazing from the eye of a zombie. Being a Hunter/Smoker is really fun. I'm hooked onto this game and finally have a break from games like Garry's Mod and TF2, honestly we need something new in our lives once in a while.

It's a VALVe game why do you need my approval? Plus it has MELONS! 10/10
