I want to love this game and maybe I'll come back to it but it doesn't feel like the fun grind cozy game I was hoping for.

I realize that I've come into this after some super disappointing updates were released - which limited a lot of creative freedom when cooking. Perhaps that's why I've slowly grown bored with it?

The game feels almost too slow and boring and I keep wondering when a new story piece will unlock or if I'll start getting new ways to make money...Yet, nothing happens. It feels empty and lonely as well. I wish there was more to interact with.

I'll keep dabbling in it here and there but it's definitely not my go-to for now.

Will update this if I get better insights and changes prompt it.

There's honestly so much to do and if you're wondering if you can do something random and apply the rules/ideals of DnD, you probably can (used feather fall in a place that got me somewhere special and was impressed it could be done).

Great game regardless of whether playing it with friends or solo!

I recommend this game only because I feel the early access is still present and I'll be forgiving while the game, on the other hand, is not.

While the game is aesthetically pleasing with the graphics and soundtrack, it is so brutal.

I barely got through the tutorial before being soul crushingly destroyed by the AI. The tutorial gave you very minimal basics (movements, general crafting, how to navigate the map, the goals) but I feel it missed a lot of important parts you won't identify until you spend hours of trial and error. Sorry, but the tutorial should prepare the user for the full game, not destroy the experience before they begin.

I couldn't figure out 'auras' for the life of me and then as I was being blocked by those for an entire section, the new negative impact events rolled in and demolished my team. Food is running out faster than you can explore a section in the hopes to get the mats for building the cook station and then the food to cook.

The game has a wonderful concept for strategy but it is unforgiving with the pace, negative events that overpower the positive ones and a very steep learning curve within the tutorial before even playing the full game.

I hope they work on improving this in updates. If they can, this game would be an excellent strategy game.

7/10 rating - needs to improve the tutorial so you can play the full game without spending hours figuring out how it works to enjoy it.

Charming Miyazaki-esque vibes, wholesome content, cute animations, and game mechanics that keep it simple. To have a Demo prior to launch was a real treat and I look forward to more when full release happens!

I don't know if I am missing anything but this game started off amazing but then I realized I was not gaining much out of it. Eventually things felt stagnant and boring. I lost interest fairly quick. Eventually my village dies off when I get to a certain population (supply not meeting demand which is bad on my end). There's a limit to what all you can build once you build it and once people die off and you don't have the manpower to run it, it all becomes pointless. Overall, I say it's just lacking too much for me to encourage you to spend your money on it.

Fully enjoying playing through an Age of Empires game yet again! I'm just getting back into these kind of strategy games and this one has been a great starter to re-enter into the world of gaming for me. I'm still trying to figure out how to get bigger maps as I've been on much smaller maps, making the game significantly less exciting but that's on me, not the game!

I'd recommend this to gamers who want a strategy game that can be at varied levels of intensity and for gamers who are just getting started. The tutorial was a helpful feature that I did not end up using since I knew the basics of the game but others have found helpful!

Graphics are clearly not as you would find in more modern games so people who have overly high expectations should try to not compare it to other games.

Overall a great title to put several hours of game play and thought into!
