TL;DR Good Game if you like challenge and immersion.

Well, a lot has changed. Hunt was and is a game that lives due to its atmosphere. The experience has changed and I do not really see the "release" with keen eyes. The negative reviews are somewhat right. There si server lag (which has resulted in me dying and losing my character, with his gear), the soundssystem renewal is weird and difficult to adapt to as a veteran and the UI change was a step into the wrong direction, aesthetically speaking.

Furthermore there are a multitude of changes that are controversial, the legendary items can be bought with "premium" currency - which is actually quite managable to acquire ingame over time - but since the purchase comes with not only the skin, but one weapon, the early game can be unbalanced because the people that spent money have access to endgame weapons and you do not. The ping system results in a loss of hardcore playstyle, because what formerly was difficult to describe (adding a neccessary skill) is now done with a click, on the flip side that makes not premade teams more competitive.

The overall performance has improved (for me), the added endgame content is a plus for me and i believe a big part of the playerbase (excluding the bitter taste of the ingame shop, making it uncertain if a player with a legendary weapon is good or a walletwarrior). The atmosphere is fascinating as always and the added soundtrack is truly amazing. The principle in itself is amazing and makes it worth the price. The tension you feel, the constant improvement and the payoff of outsmarting your enemies is just so good. Lastly the developers hav not always done the correct changes, but they always listened to the community and this is why I see a lot of the negative aspects less strongly. I will give the development team the benefit of the doubt.

I conclude: Do you like Tension, FPS and core gaming? Hunt is your game.

Rund um gut. Hier hat Ubisoft den richtigen Riecher, alles ist gerecht, es wird mit der community gearbeitet und es gibt keine Abzocke. In keinster Weise ist hier P2W am laufen. Ich kann das echt nur jedem empfehlen der Shooter spielt. Auch mit der Möglichkeit ein Starterpaket für 15 € zu kaufen und ein Vollpreistitel zu erhalten zeichnet sich hier ein gutes Bild ab.
Alles in allem gehört das Spiel zu meinen Favoriten.
