I like almost everything in the game, theme, sound, gameplay, customization and enemy. Few things that I don't like are progression that you can do only a few times per run, starting at a certain difficulty like you can choose to start at wave (i don't know what it is called) 100 or 200. Games get really intense during 200+ so the choice to start there is really good.

Better than original and much better than AAAA game like Callisto protocol. Only thing that Callisto does better is graphic but not much.

If you want a dead space clone or shooter action horror, DON'T BUY THIS GAME. This game just has a similar theme and that's all. This game isn’t good because of weird design in combat, pacing, enemy variety, cheap jump scare and there is NO NEW GAME PLUS. Even a smooth FPS can’t make this into a great game like the original dead space. This is the most disappointing game of 2022 for me.

This game has a cool concept but gameplay ruins it all. Here why
- Block puzzles, survival games usually have puzzles but it is not this DIFFICULT. It's like you're playing an actual puzzle game at level 100+. I can solve all puzzles in the RE series without having any trouble but Block puzzle alone is harder than all puzzles in RE.
- Flashing light to give the player password, this is a cool idea but the game doesn't give a hint that flashing light will be a password. So I can’t find a way to process games and I have to watch youtube to know what to do. This may be because I’m stupid but I pretty sure I read all note but have no clue about flashing light password.
- No combat option, when enemies appear YOU MUST KILL IT to pass through can’t juke them just run away from where you came. Enemy has no attack animation once they are near you enough it will grab you instantly. It will be fine if we have a lot of ammo but this game ammo is very limited. Normal zombies taking 4-5 headshots to die seem fine right? NO! because your pistol only has 6 ammo per magazine. Shotgun is fine… i think.
- Map design, I know in RE you will take an item to use it to open something in another area BUT in RE there is a shortcut if you remember the map well so backtracking isn’t take that long in RE unlike your game. It takes too long to walk around the map and it is boring.
- Weird hitbox, if you shoot enemies you have to wait for it to finish stagger animation. Because shooting too fast will make your shot miss.
If you can fix the problem that I mentioned, I think your game will be much better at least in my perspective. I know you are a newbie but did you playtest your game? and how are you not seeing this problem? Next time playtest your game a lot more. I know making good games is hard because I’m a game design student.

This is SUNBREAK review from players who reach MR100 and defeat every monster in game, this won't include monster title update.
What I like
- Challenge
Monster now has an attack that can counter player counter attack which makes counter their attack now much harder and more satisfying.
- Quantity of Monster
All of the high rank monsters come to master rank, unlike iceborne that some won't come to master rank like normal nergi.
- Monster variety
It has crabs, insects and many more fang beasts. I just like that we didn’t hunt only wyvern or elder, now we hunt everything.
- Follower quest
Hunt with NPC and I have to say NPC is really good, they may be better than some players. This quest is only for singleplayer for those who don’t have friends to play with.
- Fashion
This is from a player who plays a female character. Now, there is armor that fully covers the character's face and the design is so cool.
- Cutscene
I like the intro cutscene of each monster and all monsters will have an intro unlike iceborne that some don't.
- Customize player move
Players can change 5 moves and can swamp each set freely in combat which makes combat really fun and smooth.
- Armor skill
These skills are very interesting, I won’t go into detail because it will be too long but I think it is more interesting than unlock cap of certain skill like in iceborne.
- Final boss
I think it is better than Shara in every way except weapon design.
- Endgame
Afflict monster is so much cooler than temper monster that just the same monster that deals more damage. This will have more HP and damage but with DPS checks that reward players who play aggressively and punish those who are bad.


What I don’t like
- Talisman grind
I prefer RNG on deco and crafting talismans like in iceborne.
- Deco lv4
I like deco lv4 in Iceborne more because it gives 2 level one skill instead of 1 level two skill. But it may come in the future.
- Variety of quest
All quests in the game are hunted in 50 minutes and players can faint 3 times. There is no capture, only a 15 minutes hunt or you can't faint these 3 changing feelings of the hunt which kinda lame we don't get them.
- No investigation quest
This is a perfect way to farm rare material in iceborne, sadly this system won’t return.
- Only 1 area for arena quest
In iceborne we have 3. Arena is bad cause it's just a plain area that has nothing to play with unlike iceborne that are ballista or dragonator.
- Map
It is better than base rise but not as good as in iceborne (I won’t talk about guiding land) that every area is unique in terms of gameplay and aesthetic.
- Camp in each map
Why are there only 2 camps that players can fast travel to ? And why buddy recon exists, it is just a fast travel point that players can use only once per hunt. Just make it camp and it will be much better.
- Food
Why the ♥♥♥♥ we still eat Dango even we in the west ? Just eat steak please.
