Ya.. no. Has a can't find CD bug that can only somewhat be removed by installing a fake cd iso and toying with the dosbox. It can be played... but save early and often.
Somebody might right a mod that replaces the .dll that makes the check and convinces it that the CD is always present. . . but not done yet. and OpenApox will eventually be a thing... but not done yet.

Playable, but not as fun for all the interuptions

The game is great. Ok, it;s UI needs some SERIOUS QOL overhall, and there are some nit-picks about the name and display art. But overall the core GamePlay loop is solid.

I just am unwilling to finish the game: spoiler warning.

Finishing the core plot requires the unprovoked murder of all 4 female identified characters. One of whom is set up as a romantic partner make it even more gross.

Worse, canonically these women have been used before by somebody who manged to collect their blood WITHOUT KILLING them, as they have characteristic scars from the previous time their blood was harvested. So not only is it canonically possible to collect the blood non-lethally there is no option to do so.


This game will get a full and heartfelt endorsement when the developers adds quest lines from the women to earn their trust or explain to them the fact that they are also trapped in the timeloop and will never see tomorrow unless THEY choose to provide the blood to help you break the loop.

until that is added.... the game is unfortunately not one I am willing to finish, which is too much of a disappointment to earn a recommendation.

If you like Civ but wish there was more story, depth, characters, and less Chance to survive. This is the game for you
