Masterpiece, simple as

Combination of Publisher Troubles and general incompetence caused this game to go from a huge playerbase, to basically dead. Sad times.

Easily the best Indie game I've ever played. If you want a both casual and exciting experience. Get this game. Its fun.

Just remember you're a background character in this game, and you might survive.

This game has defined my childhood, growth into teenagehood, and finally adulthood.

It is addicting, relaxing, stressful, chaotic, calm, and overall a blur of emotions.
Game is awesome, community can suck ass, when you find your group tho? Best thing ever.

Only thing thats holding me back from a 10/10 is a dated engine and system. That and I can't give my character ultimate booba. Loved that part of BDO XD.

This game is that feeling. I can say the dreams of players and people who were "laid off" (Fired by all accounts), are dead. This game, this series, this dream. Could've been something beyond beauty, now its a corpse for those with no ambition outside of the desire to ruin the things others love.

Dont buy or endorse anything Bungie. It is no longer the friend we once knew.

Right how would I describe this game atm? The word that comes to mind is Stale. Plays like a Halo in MP, thats good. Problem: without custom games, firefight, or literally anything buffering the "toxic grinder supreme" and the guy who just got off his 8 hour work day. The MP turns to a sludge fest through a vat of your own sadness and pain with the realization that this game has worse Matchmaking systems then Crucible in Destiny 2 during the reign of Mountaintop.

You want to know how bad Crucible is was and for some level still is when it comes matchmaking? Your more likely to encounter people of HIGHER skill level then you then someone at your level. When the social turns into comp bounty grinding the fun gets sucked real quick.

Which reminds me. Bounties should be removed period. It artificially removes the goofy fun a lot of players remember in Halo's identity, all those goofy Halo 3 screenshots and memories come from the moment where the two flag carriers accidentally meet up in a "pardon me" scenario. Bounties proceed to remove it because if you don't finish that bounties by the end of the day? tough noogie no armour for you. And the fix they introduced is well... small. The Daily XP boost lasts about 2-3 games before it backs to the same slog through the grinder for some armor that ngl don't get me interested.

By next season I hope they at least mention a firefight in the works, by god I couldn't give 2 round-about's about Forge if I simply cannot enjoy a relaxing and fun gamemode. Infinite has so much bloody potential with it, so much. But they squander it so harshly. Not to mention the endless bugs you can get graphics wise if you aren't running the lastest tech currently priced at $1000+ dollars. Also need I mention the fact that your GPU means naught for Infinite? Nonono, they dump a lot of processing on your poor CPU. Launching infinite easily puts my CPU at around 80% while in bloody menu's.

Infinite is a poorly optimised game that can run worse then Skyrim at times. And graphics wise it's the same ol gimmic of needing a 3070 level GPU to play on Ultra graphics. When I get the same quality whilest on a modded Skyrim with a 1650.
GPU's being needed as bad as they are is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ because I have been spoiled by optimisation that allows older GPU's to run fine with the same results by cutting down on unnecessary BS your System doesn't need to run *at* that moment.

One lame excuse was coined to me as the AI taking up CPU. For starters why is the AI of a Grunt in the base around 3 ingame Km's being rendered? granted I can see it useful for montages your seeing now but I should have the option to optimise unnecessary clutter in campaign. Plus going from low textures to medium ending up taking 2 gigs of Vram is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ joke.

And we all know the horse-show that is the damn store and monetisation. I feel like I was spoiled by MCC by the fact that MCC actually values my time and input I put in because in the end of any play season I always get *something* I want out of the BP. Not this slogging through 70+ levels for my fav helm.

TL:DR if your new to the series and you want to get this game for MP, do your self a solid and boot up MCC instead, lots more content, more well-crafted and honestly more welcoming of your time.
