The AI became horrible after the most recent update. Theres so little diplomacy and random war call ins that it makes the game unplayable. I didnt even buy the newest DLC and it still effects me

Horrible gamebreaking bugs from the most recent update. The gameplay itself is fine and fun if you can get into it. Social tab is currently broken along with many other things.

This game has so much love into it. I originally thought it was a little weird with the cities looking different but I like it. It shows progress over the game and it's really cool. There's a small amount of people who have the "not civ bad game" thought process but this game is so amazing.

The way the game works is you start as a neolithic tribe and advance through ages via fame. So the ancient era, classical era, and so on. Each era has it's own unique civilizations with perks, buildings, and units, to choose from creating a ton of diversity and fun combinations to play around with.

I see some people complain how you go from China to England over ages but you don't have to. You can stay as the same civilization if it annoys you that much. You just don't get a new unique set of perks. They added a fun video game aspect to the game, yes it isn't hyper realistic but personally I don't like that about games. I'm here to have fun, not get mad over snobby details. Also, why would you want to stay as the same civilization and be limited to a perk, a building, and maybe a unit. I am comparing this to civ because it is a "rival" to the game. In this game, the civs you choose are unique in every way and you get to choose different ones as you advance.

It's so much fun, the only complaint I have atm is the war support system. It would do a "force surrender" if I beat them enough and didn't give me the option to conquer. I may just not understand it yet, but it was mildly frustrating. Overall my experience was incredibly fun.

Each Civ has its own unique city style (So far to my knowledge)
Your mouse makes the little animated people run away
The battle animations are really great, very refreshing and fun
The battle system is very intuitive and fun, allowing for decisions and not just right click over and over
The terrain has a massive impact on gameplay. Very strategic and provides incentive for proper decision making.
Customize your own leader at the beginning of the game.
Special events pop up with trade offs and consequences of your choices.

These are just a couple of the things in the game, please check it out. You can tell there's a lot of work put into it. Also update your drivers for it. People have been having problems with it crashing and it fixes it.

I know there were a lot of people who worked on this game for a very long time.

I feel cheated out of my money. Like this was not what I wanted at all. There were some fun times I had with this game but it was mostly frustration.

I played this game for the first time in a while just to see what was "new", knowing it was all bug fixes. So I called my called my car and it never came. It only got farther away on the map. I think that sums up how this game is after 30+ gigs of bug fixes after almost a year :/

I want them to keep working on it, but I still feel cheated after all this time. I don't recommend this game at all.

I've never had more fun losing. This game is beyond amazing and is brilliant. Multiplayer needs to happen though ASAP.
