Cool game brought down by AI.

Gameplay is essentially trying not to die from laser accurate AI full-autoing you through walls, while also trying not to shoot the civilians that are standing still or sprinting at you full speed (literally why???) in the middle of a firefight.

Snooze

Pretty sad this game has a negative reputation. It took everything that was good about Borderlands 3 and gave it a decent story and actually funny writing.

The combat loop is addictive, The graphics are beautiful. And the game made me laugh a ton. It's everything I'd want in a Borderlands game and it deserves better treatment.

Poorly optimized buggy mess. Literally the same game, same graphics, same animations as COD 2019. You get a few new vehicles and guns as well as a new map that looks like the last one all at the price of your sanity and your computer catching flames. Good luck to anyone who can stand this heap.

I personally loved this game. Unfortunately, many of the negative reviews are tied to what seems to be a fans of previous Amnesia games who seem let down by this sequel. I have no played a previous Amnesia title, so I have gone into this fresh, and unbiased. The game itself, to me was a fantastic title. The story and the world building kept me hooked, and the horror, while not as present as it may be in other games, kept the game thrilling enough to stay engaging. There were some real scary parts, and that makes this game valuable. I hope you don't let the biased players sway your decision...This was a thrilling adventure and a must have for horror fans.

This game is funny in the sense that it has very basic core gameplay mechanics, yet the developers are so incompetent the mechanics are inconsistent at best. Accurate hit boxes are crucial to a game like this but you can bet your ass it's something that hasn't been worked on since 2015. Instead the developers are busy pushing out 5 dollar cosmetic pieces and making controversial perk reworks that no one asks for. Having a rank is nigh pointless now considering the matchmaking is so broken it's no longer rare to see a mix match of the highest rank players with some of the lowest rank players in the same match. If there's anything to leave this review on it's how the developers treat this issue, and why you as a consumer should be weary of a game like this. Instead of fixing matchmaking, the developers are now covering up the rank icons so we can no longer see (and complain) about the horrible ranking and matchmaking, rather than fix it. It's okay though, because I guess now we can make our character's hair look more fancy for an extra dollar and a half. Time to uninstall, again.

I hate almost everything about this game, and this is coming from someone who has over a hundred hours in the first one. The stealth and mechanics just feel gross. Enemies freak out over the smallest things, see you from hundreds of feet away, small one on one battles turn into the entire map coming at you. Emily's 'teleport' mechanic is messy hot garbage, barely works. It uses a lock on that never seems to go to the target you want, which makes it extremely hard to use in more tense situations.

Story is a carbon copy of the last one. Someone wants your kingdom's power, Emily/Corvo gets incapacitated in some way, and you have to deal with a bunch of people to get it back.

This game runs like hot garbage. GTX 970 and an i7-4790 can barely run the game at 60 FPS in very few places with dips in the 30s/40s in most open areas at MEDIUM, which is surprising because this game looks like a cross between a cartoon and an oil painting.

Stealth is painful. Everything about the stealth in this game is an inconvenience. Everything feels like a chore. Even the non-lethal takedowns on targets are just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lazy. Everything feels ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lazy.

I'll be playing the first Dishonored and uninstalling this if anyone needs me.

What can I say about this game? It's great, or rather it would be if Ubisoft actually got their act together. I have over 800 hours in this steaming pile of ♥♥♥♥, so this is a rather experienced review. This game is broken as hell. It's around 2 years old and the competetive side of this game known as "ranked" is an unbalanced mess. Ranking up or down relies on whether or not you're randomly queued with a good team or not, so unless you're in a 5 queue you're ♥♥♥♥ out of luck. Operators are usually either too good or too bad. A frequently played operator known as Ash has such a skewed hitbox, she's basically headless. Disconnections and crashes are so frequent in this game because Ubisoft servers are so trash. Getting disconnected in a ranked match results in a 15 minute ban and an extreme loss of points and deranking. I honestly just got out of a ranked match where half the team was killing the rest just for fun. I left the match and got banned. It's too funny.

Now here's the real kicker. I paid 30 dollars for a seaons pass and the devs cut content and essentially ripped me off because they were too lazy to put out the newest edition of DLC. Instead they rolled out a far-fetched excuse called "Operation Health" which is supposed to be a massive patch. So far the game seems to be only more broken. I'm done for now. I've lost faith in this game and it's devs. They really need to impress me for me to come back to this stinking pile of cancer.

Outlast 2 is, an interesting game to review. Overall the tone of the game is great, the graphics are fantastic, the story is pretty good and the controls are buttery smooth. It's certainly not as scary as the first one, but the thrill isn't gone. There are a many scary parts as well, including basically any encounter with Marta. The school 'dreams' are absolutely horrifying, pure horror. If the entire game was in the school sections it would garter a 10/10 for me. However it isn't. The picturesque wood setting is beautiful, but extremely annoying. There are many sections of the game where I have died over and over and over because the game forces you on a linear path to one exit, and sometimes it is literally just a path that you cannot pass due to NPCs attacking you. At that point it's not skill based, it's simply stupidity in the devs. I have yet to finish the game, probably around 75% through so I cannot really provide a 100% review, however the story is very engaging, and I hope it sticks like that throughout.

TLDR good game, not as scary as the first and can be absolutely frustrating to progress through. I give it a 7/10. Probably subject to change once I complete it fully.
