It's a ton of fun, especially if you have friends to play with.

Remnant: From The Ashes is a wonderful game and an experience I would not trade for anything. It is a blast to play through the campaign with some friends or even just people you meet in public games. Remnant fills a very nice niche somewhere between Dark Souls and Borderlands. So if you're wondering, "hm, should I play this game? It looks cool but I'm not sure" like I have so many times before, let me tell you, YES. You absolutely should. I've enjoyed every second of my adventure so far. Please at least try the game out, you'll be doing yourself a favor. If there is one flaw it's that the game doesn't give you a very good sense of direction. As you sink more time into the game you get used to it and it no longer becomes an issue, but for the first few hours it may be a little confusing. Don't let that stop you from playing this gem of a game, I'm telling you, play the game, it's really good.

Great game, i'm not going to act as if there aren't still a few issues that need to be worked out but Crytek is aware of this and they're doing their best which is all we can ask. With that out of the way, absolute blast of a game especially with friends. I've never played anything that made me feel such a wide range of emotions from happiness, fear, anger, suspense, all the way to triumph. Only regret is that I didn't pick it up sooner. You might balk at the base price along with the micro-transactions and dlc, but you don't have to spend a dime on either of the second two to enjoy the game to its fullest. You also may dismiss it because it's "just another battle royale" but it is SO much more than that. It definitely takes a fair bit of getting used to as there is a fairly steep learning curve. It can be a stuggle at first but it is so, so worth it once you finally get past that beginning phase. You just have to play it to find out, so please, from me to you, play this game. It can be really frustrating at times but even so I can't help but love it. This game really is a blast and I really want to see it grow.

is gud game. good thing to do when i dont feel like playing anything else, just get to sit back and watch some carnage.

Update: After close to two thousand hours in this game, can confirm is still a blast to play, especially with friends.
