It's a great game, but my only problems with it are the new player experience and also the veteran player experience. Many new players are going to get baited into buying platinum with real money in order to use it in the market, even though it's extremely easy to get platinum through trading. The market itself is also extremely misleading; showing weapons with a platinum price tag instead of the blueprint cost in credits, making new players think the game is "pay to win", even though they can easily just buy the blueprint and farm the resources. Now for the Veteran player experience. As someone who has sunk a considerable amount of time into the game to build nearly all of the weapons in the game and reach a high mastery rank, I've gotten to the point where I question what I'm still playing the game for. I've already built the necessary frames to play all types of content in the game, and I have extremely powerful weapons to kill the toughest foes, so what next? A lack of true "endgame" content greatly hinders the veteran player experience, to the point where most veterans stop playing the game and play a different game until more content gets released. These are my only issues with Warframe currently, but it truly is a fantastic game. The movement is satisfying, the progression is encouraging, and the horde-shooter style gameplay all contribute to the masterpiece that Digital Extremes has made. Speaking of DE, they are perhaps the most trustworthy group of developers in gaming, who have pushed for fewer microtransactions and change or remove in-game money sinks.
