This has a lot of potential but it's currently very buggy. I played into the second mission and found the road tool completely broken and then shortly thereafter I was unable to build or place anything upon the map.

This was a great experience for me and my only wish is that I had the chance to buy more than one before the hardware versions stopped being sold here on Steam. It does absolutely work best over a hard Ethernet cable connection as opposed to WiFi but I have been successful running both. My only gripe is that connecting PS4 controllers via Bluetooth is a bit of a hassle as it seems to be difficult to pair or even difficult to tell that the controller has been paired at all; but once it's connected its smooth sailing. Just make sure you don't connect that controller back to a PS4 because it will cause the Steam Link to forget the connection and you'll have to do it all over again.

That being said, I've also used the Steam Link to stream my desktop to the TV; you're not just limited to using Big Picture Mode on Steam. Considering that the only method I had to stream to my TV was Chromecast prior to my purchase, I'd say the Steam Link is the best method. Chromecast has insufferable delays by comparison.

Now that I know there's an app, I hope to try Steam Link on my other devices as well.
