After a long time of being a mediocre city building game, now the game won't even launch. No explanation of why, besides perhaps a 50 dollar sequel came out that I'm supposed to buy now that looks almost like the same game.

Really fun city builder so far!

I appreciate the requirements to grow the city, which are challenging, but not too cumbersome and makes you work to get the logistics to grow the city. I am really looking forward to custom architectural themes being introduced in the future hopefully, which will allow for other region's cities to be built and a building editor option.

Definitely a well polished game, nice UI, runs well, and while I'm not a big voxel guy in general, it doesn't bother me with this game, which looks fine when at normal zoom level.

A very addictive city builder, and I have played a lot of city builders.

I've played a lot of city building games, and I have been really happy with NewCity so far. Sure, there are some things that need to be changed, and there are a few bugs that need to be worked out, but the game mechanics are solid. I really like that they have a city-center effect going on that is more realistic than other city building games, and they focus more on the macro than the micro of city building.

I would definitely recommend this game, and I know it is only going to get better.
