Very grindy, very laggy if you don't have the money for a high-end PC, it makes my computer sound like an okay I think I lost enough interest, here's the meat of it.
Super Woke. Go woke, go broke! In this game there is no ~gender,~ and the main character is a 3,000 year old child. (if this sounds pedo-y to you, then great, because it is. the community and lorewriters are as shameless as a furry convention and don't discourage sexualizing a literal child! Woo!) Lightning round: Go into world chat and say the word "trap" especially in reference to a person or frame, and you may get a mute for a few days! Good that you protect a very small subsect of people but not literal children. woke lol

Look at how moderators run forums so tightly that there's no dissent. Not little, I mean NO dissent.
A black friend of mine was muted for 3 weeks for using ebonics, while others can talk in public about crotch bulges for an hour. Good luck mentioning this disparity anywhere without a massive mute or outright ban.

Did I mention the money? The special currency has so many applications (and prompts!) it would make a mobile game blush. Any chance to charge they take it, and furthermore, they have a chokehold on the economy. If you buy or trade platinum from someone who farmed theirs or bought theirs as well, the mod team is shameless about EVERYTHING, including a paper trail hunt to strip your account. Nowadays, there's a big stupid warning to not have a platinum economy despite the fact it is tradable, just don't trade it I guess. Before the aforementioned warning, my account was HELD FOR RANSOM from trading platinum with someone else. I had to pay money to play again (A double digit amount of cash- 50 dollars at least). Think about that- The official game held my account for ransom and threatened to permaban if I didn't respond in 30 days. This doesn't punish people who falsely make platinum or people who chargeback their purchase, this punishes the victims and chokes out the economy- if there was one, again. I'm pretty sure this meets the definition for criminal activity somewhere. What's that word, uh, e-x-t-o-r-t-i-o-n?
The devs are 1-trick-ponies. If you played pre-2016, don't bother coming back. The lore is incomprehensible. The grind will take you lifetimes, plural. If you played back then because it felt cool, it's honestly not worth it.
The sheeeeer amount of shilling they do at every chance- Twitch partnerships (you know how corrupt they are if you are literate), Amazon Prime partnerships (same deal), etc.
I already mentioned the wokeness but it goes without saying, they are so woke they need a damn nap. They went full circle right back to being everything they pretend they aren't.
Pros:
If you are troglodyte that likes shiny things and wants to feel like an "anime", so cool wow, go for it. If you want to take pictures of a frame's ass, there's an in game tool for that, but remember, its a mech piloted by an actual child. There's lots of eye candy, motionblur, sliding and gliding "like a ninja", for the type of person with no standards.
If you like gunplay, but not realism, it'll be your jam.
