Highly recommend this game.
Hardcore twin stick shooter with a focus on highscores and a pretty sweet campaign mode.
Hordes of evil geometry is chasing you, you have to dodge and destroy all of it! You can never master this highly skill-based game.
Soundtrack is nice, and the graphics - although certainly not next-gen - are very enjoyable.

Biggest negative thing about I can say about this game is that the difficulty - in some of the game modes - builds up over time, meaning that you have to replay easier parts often instead of getting dropped straight into the real hardcore parts.

Entry-level danmaku/bullet hell. It's really fun though, the graphics and soundtrack are great too.

Entry-level danmaku/bullet hell. Graphics are low-res but still sweet, soundtrack is great aswell.
Interface is a bit laggy, but in-game controls and gameplay is smooth so it's not a big deal.

Nice side scrolling shooter, with awesome physics. It's a bit on the short side though, but it was fun nonetheless. It's not a hard game, but it was challenging enough to entertain.
I was scared at first because physics in these type of games is usually not very good for the gameplay, but I think the game dev manged to implement all the physics really nicely into the game.
Good for 6 hours or so of gameplay when you want something funsie.

I nearly never play story based games, but this one was great. The story isn't really handed over to you and it is kind of open to a lot of interpretation. The atmosphere is a bit tragic, but enchanting at the same time. It's also quite mysterious and some players play the game over a couple times to better understand the story.

It has no gameplay other than figuring out the story, exploring and looking at the scenery, though in my opinion this is better than creating some lame gameplay mechanics that frustrate me anyway.
It takes about 2 hours for a single playthrough.

This game is a gem.

While I didn't find the gameplay isn't outstanding, it is pretty decent. It's a pretty simple concept: you play a shmup in reverse. While dodging the enemy bullets you also have to "undo" your own projectiles on the beat. That makes it a pretty skill based game and it is fairly challenging to beat the game on hardest difficulity.

The great stuff is in the details. This game is made mainly by two programmers, who have put an insane amount of time in making the engine and procedurally generating nearly everything graphical in the game. That basically means a lot of the stuff on screen is created by logical statements, not by graphic artists.

If you like rhythm games, give it a try.

Really fun danmaku/bullet hell. Story is actually interesting, and it's got some nice pixel art. One of the very few good western (non-japanese) shmups.

Personally I have one problem with this game: you have to control it with the mouse, because the keyboard controls don't work very well in this game (not very responsive and it's got some velocity problems). Since most danmaku usually work with keyboard controls, it takes some time getting used to mouse movement mechanics.

8.5/10 (would have given 9/10 if keyboard controls weren't crappy)

Awesome (small) psychedelic rhythm game. Original, frenetic and challenging. Not how I'd like to play my music everyday, but it's a nice funsie thingy. Good for a couple hours/days of challenge.

This japanese arpg game is a blast. Awesome storyline, enchanting world, fun bossfights.
The enemies in every level are usually pretty easy, but the bossfights are a nice challenge. Most bosses took me a couple hours of retries on the hardest difficulty (playing as Yunica on nightmare, Hugo is much easier). The combat is smooth, fast paced, and pretty simple actually, but it's the bossfights where you have to get a bit creative.

Oh and the soundtrack on this one is pure gold.

Early Access Review
Fun twin stick shooter. It's not a traditional play-safe-shooter though. You can actually take a couple of hits in this game, because it wants to encourage you to take risks. There's also a timer (in the form of battery pickups) that's pretty tight, to encourage even more rushy adrenaline filled play. It seems to be quite hard to get good scores on the later levels, so I'd say it's good for quite some challenge.
The different characters all have different playstyles aswell. It doesn't seem very balanced at the moment but at least it's fun to try out different ones.
