Fun game. If you like classic doom and low poly graphics you'll love this game.

This game is great but is overall so disappointing, far too short, really hope that more comes of this in the future. Playtime is also under the refundable limit, not a great for a £3.99 game :/

Really fun strategic shooter. There's no specific path to complete the most of the missions, so the game is very re-playable.

Ok so I would definitely recommend this game to anyone who is a fan of the “TACTICAL TOP DOWN” genre and here’s why…
The game is visually beautiful, the pixel graphics are at just the right level of ‘pixelation’ and the little animations look really nice. I would say that the game seems to have more of an 80s feel to it then a late 90s feel (VHS graphics, hotline Miami vibes you know what I mean). The idea of having to actually wait for an enemy to point a gun at you adds a whole new level of complexity (stress) to the game. Overall very fun worth a buy (especially due to it having been realised two days ago)
However, there are a few notes I would give…

1. THIS GAME NEEDS WORKSHOP, genuinely I would be willing to ignore every further criticism on this list if it means this game becomes compatible with the workshop
2. PARTNER IS ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ USELESS, he tends to kind get stuck or just stand behind you as you do all the work. He has saved me in a few occasions, but I mean not really very useful
3. IT’S VERY, VERY, VERY SHORT, I finished the game in about 3-4 hours which for a £12 game (yes, I’m from the UK) isn’t great. I’m sure more it to come and I know the game has only just come out, but I was admittedly expecting more

OVERALL all I can say is that the game is fun, but I seriously hope that the dev team doesn’t think this game is done yet because there’s so much that could be added (workshop, more firearms, different storylines, xyz…). But like a said I would definitely recommend the game.

Recently, I've started playing Prison Architect again and the second I first booted it up I remembered why I absolutely love this game.

The game is so much fun; if you're in to any resource management, colony management or omnipotent god sim games, Prison Architect is the game for you.

Short Version : I love this game

Long Version : I first saw Rimworld on a YouTube video and I was instantly hooked. The art style and build mechanics instantly reminded me of Prison Architect, a game I also heavily recommend. When I first got the game, I booted up a Crashed Survivors mode game and got to work and within the first 10 minutes I was addicted. I love the resource gathering mechanics, they feel as if they are just difficult enough and the same with the shooting/combat mechanics. The random events in the game can sometimes be annoying, however one time I played a game removing the events I actually found it quiet boring.

• “God Mode” is very enjoyable from time to time

• Thunder Storms setting fires can be very annoying
• Low skill level characters can be really challenging to work with
