Devs got screwed over by Take2. Game studio is closed. This game is not being developed anymore. Refund it. Don't buy it. I'm never gonna play it ever again. Back to KSP1 which was developed by Squad. This is the biggest insult from Take2 today.
It already looked bad with what Take2 did to the old studio, we hoped, but ultimately it got spit on and tossed to the side.

Sony didn't revert their change on the PSN requirement and locking people out of their games. They actually restricted more games. So this review is going back to negative until this anti-consumer practice is solved.

I've bought the game on Epic over a year ago because the game looked really cool. I am a Factorio fan ever since the early access in 2014 up until now when they almost release version 1.0. People are whining this game is in early access for so long and is not complete, better to buy Factorio. Factorio has been in Early access for 6 years now so ignore that. The game is amazing to look at, you play as a first person in a 3D environment with different starting area's on one huge map. You can simply do what ever you want. No real goals for now except to unlock all the tiers to make all the different components or build able blocks. Expect much more content and build mechanics in the future. You can set your own goals, like build a huge Factorio as ImKibitz is doing. I've spend over 100+ hours on the Epic launcher, which of 80+ hours is after the Update 3. It's almost a full game now, compared to most triple A games that are being released or have been released. Yes I bought the game a second time to support the developers, and to not have Epic installed anymore. Minor detail. If you hate on Epic, fine. But don't butcher the game for your own preferables.

Edit: Forgot to mention. The devs are great with communication. They frequently update the community. Their Youtube channel is active with informative video's. They really interact with their community and genuinely listen to their community. Example: Recently most ores got a texture overhaul. Most people did not like it so they reverted it back and try something different.

I was very excited for the game when I knew it was made by RESPAWN, developers from Titanfall. My first playthrough was about 40 hours when I 100% completed the game with everything collected. You can prob rush though everything and be done in 10 hours of story content, but that is not the intention of the game to be played. I really enjoyed it. The graphics are fabulous. Sometimes there are weird stutters when loading in new scene's or some area's. (Yes still now). The combat is fluent. You really have to learn and engage with the enemy. It's not a simple hack and slash game. You can parry, dodge, or do both. The story it self is great. It's actual lore of the Star Wars universe. The boss fights, most are epic, some are underwhelming. Going for my second playthrough on Master Jedi.

The biggest buy point for the game for you is when you love to jump platform to platform and explore the world.

Cool game, required you to grind, so if that is a thing for you, don't play it. Game starts after you completed the main story line. Until you completed it, it's a one big tutorial on how everything works. You need to figure out alot of stuff on your own and nothing will be given to you. For me that ain't a problem at all. Receives a lot of content updates and you always have to do something in this game. You have alot of different way's to hunt a monster or learn a new weapon, try out new builds etc.

8/10 for this game.

Even though the game is still in development, I have played it numberes of hours already 4 years ago and I'm still playing. The game keeps better and better. You always have something to do and you can alway's try out different things. I really recommend the game for people who like survival and explore games.

One of the Best survival/simulation games I have played, and its only in Alpha release :D + the engine they use is not even finished yet. So congrats guys, keep going
