Not sure why episode 4 gets it's own review and 2 and 3 don't, but either way I have to say that this is not just the longest but also the most emotional episode, as things in Arcadia Bay get even crazier and you finally begin to understand the consequences of playing around with time.
Masterpiece.

I tried this game on a whim, mostly based on how high the reviews had been, and all I can say is 'wow!'. I really did not expect to get so invested into the plot or characters here. Maybe it's because you have no idea how big the consequences of your actions will be, or when exactly those consequences will occur, so every decision you make seems so much more important than most decisions in video games. Some will have consequences in the next episode, others three episodes later. Some minor, and some major.
Yes, the lip-syncing is fairly bad in some episodes, and the slang is slightly out of touch with how teenagers actually speak, but this game has an incredible ability to take standard trope characters and flesh them out into truly unique individuals that you love, hate, feel sorry for or even all three at once.
One of the best things about this game is how, like anybody would, you abuse your time rewind powers for even the smallest things, helping people out and manipulating everybody so you can be popular and learn their secrets, only for the game to end up throwing this back in your face and directly calling you out for abusing your power.
Absolutely amazing.

New playable civilisations, new campaigns that are definitely improved over Forgotten Kingdoms, on top of the already magnificent base game. What more could you ask for?

Basically Age of Empires 2 with a Star Wars paint job. Which is a good thing. I spent hundreds of hours playing this game, usually as the Trade Federation and sending armies of Heavy Destroyer droids at people. Playing as the Republic or the Confederacy adds two new factions I haven't tried before, but I'm already enjoying them.
Also, I sent Darth maul against Darth Vader.
Darth Maul won.
It's official.
Maul is the best.

A rich, detailed, vibrant world, with stuff going on around every corner. I played this game after playing Skyrim multiple times, and overall I have to say that Skyrim is an undeniable improvement. Not just in graphics (the moon faces get quite annoying after a while) but also in content.
This is a great game, make no mistake, and I wish I had gotten this years ago so that I could judge it on its own merits rather than comparing it to its superior sequel, and there is enough to keep you entertained for hundreds of hours.
Oblivion does some things better than Skyrim, but it definitely has its flaws.
For starters, almost every single dungeon is practically identical. The voice acting could be better (aside from Sean Bean (spoiler alert) and Patrick Stewart) and the levelling is noticeably clunkier than that of Skyrim.
That being said, there is greater variety in enemies to fight and spells to cast than in Skyrim, and it's a toss-up whether you consider the greater variety of daedric enemies to be better than dragons, which are more different compared to most enemies you fight in either game, and if you haven't played either game yet, play this one first, so you can appreciate it as it deserves, rather than being overshadowed by Skyrim.

Amazing.
Addictive.
Look at my recorded time and add about 400 hours, because that's roughly what my save files come to from before I got the steam version.
And mods. Glorious mods.
Whole days and weeks vanished form my life with this game, which may possibly be the greatest game of all time. I haven't played Witcher 3 yet, so don't attack me for that (it's on my wishlist), but I'm struggling to see how it could be as magnificent as this monument to gaming.

Is this game better than the original?
That's hard to say. It's certainly an excellent game. The graphics remain beautiful, the shooting is great, and the melee combat is an improvement. Is the plot better? For this, I would say no. I'm not saying that the plot is bad, far from it, but as good as it is it simply cannot match up to the plot of the first game.
Also, the villain (Dr Sophia Lamb) is less compelling or menacing than Andrew Ryan. She is still a compelling character, but less so. Dr Lamb represents the polar opposite of Ryan, espousing the view that all should work together and sacrifice for the common good, to the degree where they lose all autonomy and become little more than drones in a hive.
Overall, i would say that this game isn't quite as good as the original, but still manages to be a brilliant game and a sure classic in a trilogy of classics.

A brilliant game accurately summed up as "Atlas Shrugged, underwater". However, there is far more to it than that. This game doesn't just portray a character with Ayn Rand's philosophy, but also comments on that philosophy and takes it to its logical conclusion, as a society based upon ethical egoism, or basically selfishness, is ultimately self-destructive and cannot survive.
The shooting is fun, the plasmids are great, the setting and graphics are simply gorgeous, and the plot is nothing short of unforgettable. I'm only sorry that I'd had the big reveal spoiled for me before I could play this marvellous game.

A great game that I played repeatedly on my PS3, I got it on steam to see if it was as fun as I remember it being.
It was.
The predator campaign is fun, but overall I would consider it the weakest of the three. Stalking marines is fun but eventually the stealth approach wears thin, and the melee combat is clunky (and ridiculously difficult on hard mode, let alone nightmare).
The strongest campaign is probably the marines, as nothing beats that for sheer claustrophobic tension as you make your way through dark tunnels and corridors, always dreading the sound of your radar beeping, only to break out in a cold sweat when it stays silent for too long.
My favourite campaign, though, has to be the alien. It's like playing as the monster form a horror movie. Forget 'Evolve', if you want to be the monster, then play the alien campaign. Not just any monster, the but the most iconic monster ever the grace the cinema screen. Nothing compares to picking off marines one by one and listening to them slowly panic.
Love it.
Get it.
Play it repeatedly.

A classic RTS game that still holds up surprisingly well today. While the units seem rather blocky by modern standards (alright, very blocky), the scenery still looks beautiful, the gameplay is solid and you can sink dozens of hours in the campaigns before you even bother with single player matches or multiplayer.
