It's almost good. But it comes with a stupidly long grind for new vehicles, an infuriating grind with stock tanks, up-tiers, spawn camping, pay-to-win bush cosmetics, ludicrous repair costs, awful maps, and glitches.

It doesn't carry the feel of W40k. A man in terminator armor shouldn't be able to perform somersaults. Unit voicelines (at least for space marines) are disappointing. Space marines sound like Imperial guardsmen cosplaying as space marines. Dreadnoughts sound like the Wraithguards from DoW2. Character models are absurdly cartoonish. Space marines skipped leg day and Gabriel Angelos is the size of a dreadnought.

It lacks some of the features that made the previous DoW games unique. Cover is found only in circular "bunker" areas, not as parts of the map (low walls, crates, wreckage, buildings, etc). Units don't rank up and unlock skill points or war-gear throughout a persistent campaign.

A decent game, but it shouldn't have been painted as a Dawn of War game, or even a Warhammer 40k game.

If you're a fan of both Warhammer 40K and turn-based strategy games, you'll enjoy this.
Some of the mechanics are a bit silly (if you know how many tiles a genestealer can move, it becomes stupidly easy to keep them at bay), and the balance is kind of wonky (melee is terrible, never go full melee), but the core of the game is solid. Definitely worth it if it goes on sale.

Do you like Warhammer? Do you like L4D? Do you just like good 4-player co-op games? Because this game is a good 4-player co-op (similiar to L4D) in the setting of Warhammer Fantasy.

By all means, this game is pretty good. Good graphics, fun gameplay, and a lot of charm.
But it's not Fallout. The writing is trash, there's barely any RPG elements or player choice, and the setting is simply not Fallout. It's a post-apocalypse themepark of what Bethesda thinks Fallout is. Its Skyrim, but Fallout themed.
If you want a real Fallout game, play 1, 2, or New Vegas. Hell, even 3 has better writing.
I regret buying into the hype and the game's really good first impression.

UPDATE: Oh cool, they added paid mods. Just great.
