Met Hoshii in a CS:GO match. Instant vibe, both on the scoreboard and in the chat. Added each other on Steam, then Discord. Started strategizing, sharing memes, the works.

One night, Hoshii drops the news: "I'm gay."

I paused, then said, "Cool, man. You still headshot like a boss, right?"

He laughed, "Yeah, same guy. Just wanted you to know."

Nothing changed. We kept racking up wins, friendship stronger than ever. Hoshii being gay didn't matter; what mattered was the bond we'd built, one headshot at a time.
