Great game. Community is full of young, toxic ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

I'm only just beginning in Elden Ring but the graphics are beautiful. It's fun playing a souls like game but being able to decide where to run off to and explore. Combat is smooth. Monsters are interesting. I really like it so far.

I would tell a friend to wait this one out, maybe even pass it altogether. I’ve just gotten to Act 2 and the story is pretty interesting, which leaves me feeling a little conflicted about giving it a thumbs down. The optimization piece seems to have been covered pretty thoroughly in this review section. The AI, though, is laughable at best. RDR2 and GtA5 have AI that makes this look fifteen years old (in terms of AI complexity and realism.) I don't know how hard it is to patch awful AI, too. While gunplay feels good, (sounds, hit markers, damage numbers) fighting gets boring quick and interactions feel very hallow.

I'm very surprised people are giving this a thumbs up.
I believe that they can patch this back to life but She’s flatlining as of right now.

35 hours in a week. I love this game. Buy it. At first it seems like a wonder how you could get your money's worth, but once you realize the depth of how each run can be different from the last, the whole game opens up. Give it a shot!

Excellent introduction into the genre if you haven't played any type of rogue-like game before. For people that have, still an incredibly deep and fulfilling experience. Gameplay is smooth and addicting with the implementation of boons (powers from the gods) and how they play off of each other and synergize in different ways. Even after beating the main boss, the game keeps on giving with story and new changes to the grind out of hell. Music is great, sound is great, just an overall 10/10 for me.

I make mushroom city. Mushroom trees, walls, mossy floor, mushroom armor. I have frickin mushroom paintings and statues.

I would definitely recommend this game to a friend. I will say that there isn't really too much depth to the overlying story you slowly uncover, but that doesn't matter due to how fun the survival and build mechanics are. This game is an excellent purchase especially if you intend to play it with a friend. Lastly, I think this game is a good start for someone who isn't already learned in survival games. It's complex in its simplicity. Have fun and for the love of god and your own sanity, build fortified float pieces around your raft!

Edit: The game has made some pretty substantial changes. The issues I discussed in my initial review have been fixed and it seems the Devs are on track with their roadmap. I'd say this is definitely worth picking up once it's on sale.

I want to leave a positive review, but it would be unfair. The game is fun, but early access was 100% rushed. For some poeple, the game is literally unplayable. Servers are a catastrophe. Resets occur everyday. I can't explain to you how many times I've crashed. When I am in a game, I see a discord message pop up telling me I need to extract because the servers are going down once more. And then even then, IF I can get to the extraction without encountering problems, everything I just accomplished doesn't count and my hunter resets to the pre-matchmaking status he started with. Why was this so rushed?

I'm enjoying this game a lot so far although I don't have very much time played. Very fun and very addictive. Here's a short pros cons

Pros:
- Crafting system is easy to understand
- Perks allow player to choose a play style they enjoy
- Intense gameplay as the the time passes (The Culmination)

Cons:
- The block and push dynamics seem somewhat broken
- Weapons feel useless by not doing enough damage (long range bow headshots, sword slashes)
- Lack of in game team speak

Overall an enjoyable game. Especially with friends. Please keep it up devs!!
