A challenging, yet rewarding game that captures the brutality and the grand scale of the battles that took place on the Eastern front during WW1. Nothing quite like being held up in a church with a bunch of screaming Russians fighting the onslaught of Germans attempting to capture it from us. Also, prepare to die from artillery A LOT, as that is pretty much the primary cause of death in the game. Overall, it is a huge improvement from Verdun, and the new Sector Control mode paired with 64 player servers really makes the game feel massive. Would definitely recommend if you're a fan of Verdun or games along the lines of Red Orchestra!
PS: in private servers, you can add up to 512 AI bots! Talk about massive battles

Game only continues to get worse with subsquent updates. Everything is locked behind a paywall, the damage models are ridiculous, Streamers are favored over regular players, etc. I'm ashamed to say this is my most played game on Steam - time to switch back to playing Warband or finding a productive hobby like investing in Kitten Mittens or some s***

A Vietnam war game that actually takes place in a historically accurate Vietnam war setting; whaaaaaaaaaat? That's unheard of nowadays. Finally, I can play as the USMC/US Army and fight the NVA/Vietcong. Note how I didn't say RUSSIANS. That's right folks, no bad guy Russians to be found heyuuump

While the idea of the game is awesome, the delivery is lacking. The devs haven't released an update in over 10 months, and the last few updates they released ruined the game for me. I've had this game since it first launched, and when it initially released I sort of enjoyed it. Sure, there were a lot of issues with it, but overall it was pretty fun. I personally liked the old version better, when the zombies weren't as big as buildings and the gameplay was more fluid. As of right now, I'd say pass or at least wait until the devs release an update that shows they still have interest in this game. There are better games out there on the market (i.e. Plague Inc) that deliver the sort of "Play as the Plague" kind of thing in a much more effective manner
