Like many other who plays this game I imagine, I crew up playing Heroes of Might and Magic 3 and this hit that nostalgia -perfectly-, but in an arguably even more fun way.
Heard about it from Ssetethzeentach's review and I've already had a lot of fun with it. Its now my go-to game for when I work nightshift.

For real, I love this game. I started playing this game first with one friend, later with him and another. At this point, I got around 100 hours more then both of them combined. I do not know how many games I have started just because I felt like starting a new one. This is either my most or second most played game on Steam and the devs keep adding more awesome stuff, before the modding community goes nuts with it and make something truly great.

I may be Norwegian and have a contractually bound dislike to Sweden, but I love Paradox, the company and their games are among the epic things that sometimes makes its way out of Sweden.

Highly recommended, I had so many good laughs and funny moments in my first playthrough, and the evil plan was funny. I do feel that the ending came suddenly, I was expecting more as there was still planets and the wrapping up of loose ends in the end area felt very strange. I'm however looking forward for my evil game that will come next, hoping that quests and such will change with that.
