When I first learned about this game I thoght it was some ordinary RPG, like Final Fantasy or Etrian Odyssey or whatever. But as I looked into more, I realized it was not any ordinary RPG, it was a game with a lesson. I find the way that this game presents a "mercy" option very unique as I could not think of any other game that has done that before; all the other RPGs that I have played were about murdering and killiing every enemy you come across to become more powerful. This game, however, puts that method and turns it into something sadistic, to show how mercy is also an option. I believe that Toby Fox's message is a very powerful one, but if you disagree and believe that this game is nothing but a source for a ill reputationed fandom and that the message is overrated and not unique, then that is your opinion. Finally, I must say that I find the fight sequences in Undertale very enjoyable.
