Watched the teaser trailer for this game before release and was instantly hooked, when it released I went into the game blind not know much about Chinese Mythology, but I was blown away by the storytelling and how they had their own original twist on it, but they stayed true to the core elements of the story. Safe to say it blew me away completely with how beautiful it was, not by the graphics alone but by the gameplay, the characters, the bosses and how unique they all were, let alone the soundtrack which was my favourite part of the game. The amount of times you can replay the game and STILL find stuff you missed is another great thing, personally it had quite a bit of replay value but I could see why it doesn't for other people, upon my first playthrough it was an extremely difficult game to adapt to considering I haven't played many games like it where I actually have to think things through during a fight. The way a chapter ends is beautiful, it really opens up about the characters and how they came to be in the position they were in when you fought them, and it does so in such an excellent way, as well as the narrator talking about how things could've been different depending on the choices you made during the chapter. If I could go back and play this game for the first time again I would, it is an absolute masterpiece of a game. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. 10/10.
