- Free Ride Extreme is cut
- All original soundtrack which was essential for the games essence has been cut
- ALL side missions are missing
- Free Ride RPG element is cut
- Lockpicking is useless
- Most of secret easter eggs like invisible car, plank as optional melee weapon in mission Sarah etc. etc. are cut
- Gun shop is missing
- All characters have been changed for the worse except Sam. Tommys motives and personality traits have been changed completely. For instance, in the original game he joined Salieris crime family just because he had nowhere else to go. "At first Tommy continues his work as a driver and nothing could be better. But as time goes on he is ordered to undertake more and more unpleasant jobs - and he starts to become disillusioned with the life" This is not a case with this Remake at all. Tommy joins family because he wants revenge, he's a killer who will never question unpleasant job and he only become disillusioned in the very end of the game out of nowhere. Don Salieri's character has also been changed completely. Now he is an angry dog killer who will always threaten his soldiers and will never have respect for what they do for him.
- A lot of missions have been altered for the worse. For example, 'Happy Birthday'. In this mission you are told to assassinate City Councilor during his birthday at steamboat. He's very protected by dozens of armed guards. You can't bring any weapons with you because you are disguised sailor. So in first game you must find a pocket pistol and shoot him during his speech and while everybody's in shock escape with a little boat. In remake everything is the same and it looks like it even have more logic because you have to shoot Councilor during firework show but then again everything changes completely for the worst because instead of escaping a ship you first must kill all the bodyguards on the ship alone there are no other options.
Conclusion.
This is a worse game than the original, but its still a decent game, much better than every uninspired trash you get from ubisoft and electronic arts. But it saddens me than people who have never played the Original Mafia will not be able to experience it if the old graphics are dealbreaker to them.

The story is great but everything apart of that is complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ especially combat. Sometimes you have to click "space" for 5 times for Geralt to jump otherwise he won't. And boss fights are also not very good either because you have to watch tutorials how to beat it and there is no freedom of decision when you fight a boss. You have to follow guide and if you do something wrong which you will obviously do because cluncky controls you will be one or two shotted. There is no way to change or even to check the keybindings, the only way to check those is to search in browser "Witcher 2 wiki". Soundtrack is great visuals are stunning for a 2011 game, but I just cant give it a positive recommendation just because the controls are broken.
