A boring slog through the same courses either reversed or at night time. In career mode you're either a mile in front of everyone else or struggling to keep up with one incredibly fast car. Upgrading your car becomes so expensive that you never want to try different cars. The game is repetitive and simple. It was nice to kill some time at work, but after racing the same course for the twentieth time, I'm done. I've seen everything the game has to offer and it's not much. The courses are all incredibly simple and short, no interesting alternate routes or course hazards, just a reskinned track with a few turns. It's a very boring game with little charm.

I love Ooblets! The game oozes charm, really untoots my slow days at work; It's both relaxing and engaging with plenty of fun things to do. The Dance Battle card system is simple yet fun while also being deep enough to warrant strategy.
Everything is very cute and cheerful, the writing is funny frequently.
It's a beautiful mix of Stardew, Animal Crossing, Pokemon.
I really feel Ooblets deserves a lot of attention and praise, it's an adorable and cozy game well worth the price of admission.

one of the best games i've ever played

They trick you at the start with a beautiful bioshock-esque set piece, I was so fooled I dropped $100.
The problems start whenever the main character opens his mouth. The profanity fueled ramblings of a horny teenager.
Shortly after the set piece you are sent underground to a drab, gray place.
Every time I got close to being immersed in the world the MC would say something rude and cringey.
There are a lot of cool ideas on display here that get crippled by an insufferable player character.
After just over two hours I had had enough and requested refund.
I guess I just want bioshock again, not whatever this is.
