Nah, ♥♥♥♥ this cheater-riddled game, don't play it if you value your sanity.

Been playing this wonderful time capsule of a game for roughly 11 years, seen a lot, from ♥♥♥♥♥♥ hackers, which claimed to be the best thing to ever grace a server, only to get banned immediately or humiliated to the point one would assume them to kill themselves, furfags expressing their degenerate fantasies of, literally, eating ♥♥♥♥, to kids thinking that the game is one massive daycare.

The game's fine, optimization's rough at points, but otherwise ok, and people made insane things in this environment and the variety of game modes lets you get countless hours of enjoyment limited only by your imagination, however...

The community itself is its biggest strength, but also its biggest weakness. Evidence of this is the recent #FixTF2 movement, which in order to save the game, are killing it, achieving nothing in the process. These absolute dumbasses think that review bombing the game does anything, perhaps inspired by Helldivers 2, which they failed to understand the "why" of the whole thing. For HD2, the thing succeeded for multiple reasons, the premise of the game, communicative devs and people's love for the game. TF2 has only third point, and sometimes the first.

Despite this, you might think that the bots are an issue, but they're not, as community servers are moderated, in the vast majority of cases, and you only really see bots in the official modes, in which people unanimously agreed on autokicking them on sight.

In short, game's fine, this useless movement is harmful towards the game. If you truly want this game to succeed, don't join it, you'll waste your time, instead, play the game, enjoy it for what it is, but amongst everything, remember to have fun.

Gotta change my review again, cuz devs actually fulfilled their promises of buffing stuff. We're so back divers.

Game is fun and despite issues, is still worthy of a recommendation.

INFORMATION FOR THE BUYER IN 2024:
Boot the vanilla version once, then get a community client and NEVER boot up vanilla ever again, reasons being multiple security exploits endangering your entire PC, worse performance and a lack of players in MP.

Immediately lock your fps to 60, regardless of version. Otherwise, your FPS will fluctuate rapidly, certain parts of maps break and game just runs worse for whatever reason.

Also, only buy the base game AND at a discount, you can get the DLCs online for free, Acti doesn't deserve more money than needed.

Best game

Got my money worth almost instantly. This game is damn good fun despite some of the stuff Atlus forgot to fix, like Denuvo, which is known for messing up ports (refer to Nier: Automata), despite that, the port of P4G on Steam is really well done.

Another problem is that the game has problems running above 60 FPS, but this is a common problem with the old PS2 games, as they were not made with that in mind, but there are mods to fix those problems.

Troubles aside, I would definitely recommend this, especially if you are trying to get into the Persona series, regardless if you pay full price or get it on any sort of a discount.

Really fun and catching, does not take much time to learn the mechanics and looks really nice too.

At first I purchased this just to collect all DLCs. I don´t regret purchasing it.

I can't play online even though I'm connected to Internet. Please fix this error. I love this game and want to play it.
