Splitgate 2:
Game advertised as an area shooter with portal and Bungie style gunplay.
>Opens an Alpha with a handful of maps and features. Pretty good so far!

I mean it's not bad, but it's not good either. The way the game has launched goes against the spirit of the game and what people were being promised doing all of this and then putting other things people have been asking for on the back burner.

Not to mention the fukn hat and the way community moderators have been treating the discussion of it.

Must've touched a nerve cus even the slightest mention of the hat got people telling me to off myself lmao. Look I'm not the one mentioning politics here, but I believe that people should have the right to speak out against it still. I also think the joke was stupid asf and tone-deaf, especially given the fact that there's barely a single original idea baked into this game despite Ian claiming to be the bastion of creativity he is making something original.

We got our 3 stage battle passes (APEX), Premium currencies that make you spend more money than what you need to buy a bundle (Every game ever rn), PORTALS (Portal), Unique Gunplay! (Halo 5), EVEN THE GUNS feel like they've been ripped from other games, Sabrask has a Destiny Hand Cannon for a secondary for crying out loud and every faction power-up can be found in Titanfall.

Not to mention all of the "apologies" given by the devs and the community facing teams for all the stupid stuff they've done and said within the past 72hrs, when really it's just been a conquest to see who can pass the buck the furthest.

This game is undeniably fun, I've been in love with it since the Alpha, but the steps they've taken outside of the Alpha and Beta leave me terrified for the longevity of the game and with the abysmal PR and toxic community, I don't see it lasting longer than Splitgate 1 did.

I was right.

Don't pay for AI slop. Don't spend your money on a company that doesn't respect it.
I regret every minute I've put into this game.

At full price this game is still a steal.

Do NOT buy this game unless you are the most die hard Payday fan, this game isn't worth your time or money.

I'm never going to make the mistake of pre-ordering a game again.
The level of quality for this game is atrocious, if you want some decent stealth and gun play that'll get repetitive after a play-throughs of each level, then that's all you're going to get.

Literally everything else in this game is a trash fire.
The time it takes to connect to servers and horrible stability of said servers, the inability to play with your team after a match, the heaps of bugs, the frequent crashing among a myriad of other things.

The slog fest that is levelling up both your account and guns would put both Warframe and Destiny to shame. It should not take me 20+hrs only to level up a gun half way way to it's max level without having to use glitches or xp exploits. This game has zero QOL features and you're going to be spending a decent chunk of your time just figuring out what you need to do alone.

There genuinely should be a policy across the board where players should be given the option to receive a refund f they are literally unable to play the game for over 72+hrs of the games launch.

I spent my first 3hrs of "playtime" just trying to get into a game and missed out on my opportunity to get my money back. If it weren't for the 2hr of playtime policy with Steam, I would have this game wiped from my account.

When you are promised fixes to make the game a bit more playable, only to have those fixes be delayed TWICE, that just screams giant red flags if the game being unplayable at launch wasn't enough.

You're going to get your ♥♥♥♥ kicked in trying to play this and you're going to enjoy it.

Don't lose your head guy.
