I'm going to start off the bat and tell you that I do not recommend this game whatsoever. I've played this game on and off with and without mods. Tried to play all the content that I could find. Got all of the achievements. So, after all these hours of playing, I realized this game is a waste of time.

Gameplay/Gunplay:
Many wrong with the gameplay. Balance, functionality, animation, jank in general. I have lost the count of how many times I've accidentally threw a grenade instead of bashing with my gun, and no, you can't simply change the keybind, Bash/Power Attack/Grenade are all binded together to one key regardless of what the keybind is. The choice of which and what buttons do in the game is simply insane. What also always bothered me of how long it takes for your character to change weapons when you bind them to numbers, it takes like a few seconds and that is already too long in the heat of a battle. Speaking of weapons, they seem to sound and feel weak, like shooting a peashooter, especially when you shoot an enemy in this game, a lot of enemies can feel like bullet sponges, "Legendary" enemies are the worst offenders, all they have is more health and recover back to full health after taking out 50% of their health. I honestly believe a paintball gun can do more damage at this point than the guns in this game. I will admit that I don't mind looting resources, I'm a loot goblin, I like looting things that will help me in the long run, while looting resources can help you, it feels pointless since once you have better gear or even the best gear, and I know that you collect resources for settlements but they feel pointless to me in general, too much work for little reward.

Graphics:
My autistic brain hates the graphics, hates the art direction, hates the textures, it's all so wrong. Textures seems so low on the highest setting and constantly feels blurry anyway, games with low graphics look more crisp than this. The art direction is for some reason really colorful for a game that is all about post-apocalypse, gives the feeling if the game is a roller coaster of happy fun time which makes no sense in a POST-APOCALYPTIC setting. Am I saying it has to look very depressing? No. But I am saying that it shouldn't be looking like it's candy land world from Sugar Rush from the movie Wreck-It Ralph. People don't look any better either, I wouldn't even call them plastic looking, just simply fake.

Story/Quests:
Not going to go deep into this, but know that I find almost every one of them boring, no logic and nonsense. And generally the reasons I would stop playing mid-game. Quests are always pretty much the same, go clean a dungeon full of goons, or kill a dungeon full of bandits, or go kill a dungeon full of mutants, or other time is pick up an item. Often times very lazy and disappointing.

Bugs:
I feel like I don't have to say much here, many bugs that were small, many bugs that were big, some were funny, some were outright annoying and bad. It's especially sad that there are still many bugs that you can encounter to this day that have not been fixed.

Creation Club:
I can't say much here since I only bought a few of them, which I massively regret doing. But from what I've seen in videos and posts, it doesn't look like it's worth the money, and many mods that are free give much better quality.

As I said at the very top of this post, I do not recommend this game. Just go play Metro.
