Far: CT, is a prequel/sequel to the immensely popular Lone Sails puzzler. While Sails took 2-3 hours to complete, Tides can take up to six hours and is more complicated. As a plus, it's family-friendly—no killing or morally questionable content.

I'm not sure what the connection is between Hellblade (HB) and mental health issues, but after solving a few of the puzzles, I can see why. The puzzles will drive a person to the nuthouse. While my computer was more than adequate to handle HB, I kept experiencing crashes, which is a rarity. What adds to the irritation is that the save points are far away from one another. I'd play for 30 minutes, the machine would crash, and I'd have to repeat the whole exercise over again.

The game is buggy, which is common knowledge in the community. Instead of fixing the problems, however, the devs went on to make a sequel. After permanently uninstalling this beautiful game, I don't think I'll be handing my cash over for another risky investment.

This package has two corrupt career scenarios. Rescue Requirement doesn't respond once you get to mile marker 23. The switch stays locked, not allowing you to pass. The first task in Impartial Martial instructs you to go to the reverse point (Step 1). However, there are no lights warning you to wait for an arriving train. Once you let it pass, you are then supposed to reverse and pick up four cars on track hbt 82. However, they are not on that track.

Pay no attention to the naysayers; this game is MUCH better than the old CS1. When CS2 released on 24 Oct 2023, those who hated it the most were the first to buy a copy so they could write a negative review. Don't pay any attention to it.

As of this writing, CS2 is in what's called Public Beta. Also called Open Beta. The community is playing the game, finding all kinds of bugs, and the devs are hard at it fixing things. It's a terribly complex game. Once they think everything is stable, they will release it on consoles.

I don't build cities; my thing is creating RW maps. That's not possible yet because there is no way to import displacement maps and so forth. Once that capability exists, I'll modify this review. But as for now, I'm gonna watch a lot of YT videos, learn the game mechanics, and begin looking at limitations AND expectations.

Games made by just one developer always seem to have something missing. Not Hidden Deep. When you start out, the game projects a certain cuteness. It doesn't take you long, however, to discover that cuteness quickly turns into horror.

From the physics-based animations to the creepy soundscape wreaking havoc on your sanity, this game is a must play for all sci-fi horror fans out there.

I own just about every Single Player survival game out there, and by far, Icarus does it right. As with any game, you always have complainers. Ignore all that: this game, IMHO, is just about as perfect as you're going to get from a game in this genre.

Built on the Unreal 4 engine, the landscapes are absolutely gorgeous, from the soaring mountains to the crashing water falls spread throughout the world. The weather effects are so realistic that you stare out from your safe and warm cabin to watch the storm while you cook up some steaks over a warm fire. The animal models and animations are Top Drawer. Eat your heart out all you Ark: Survival fans.

The only real drawback is that there is a tremendous amount of grind in the beginning. I got so tired of chopping down trees and mining stone that I began to lose interest in the game. Start from a humble beginning and gradually work towards a more contemporary environment. When you tire of mining ore and chopping down trees, you can always take on the missions offered and get rewarded for completing them. The tougher the mission, the greater the payback.

As with any game this complicated, there are bound to be glitches. However, the devs are constantly updating the code to swat any bugs causing problems. Personally, I have encountered none of the problems mentioned in the forums. The only problem I have is with the building mechanics. For example, constructing pitched roofs is not very intuitive when you try to join cornices at 90-degree angles. The animal attacks are bothersome, necessitating constant surveillance while you construct a safe haven. But even if you die, you can recoup your gear and keep going.

Icarus comes with a plethora of DLC, the subject of much contention among some fans. I found that the add-ons I've purchased extend the game's playability. Even if you stay with the base game you won't be disappointed. I highly recommend adding Icarus to your Steam library.

There are three main differences between an Outpost and the Open World Map:
  • Outposts are smaller.
  • They have only one biome.
  • Resources re-spawn.
As far as outposts being a place for building without fear of animal molestation, that's not true (unless you set the difficulty level at Easy). With that aside, the map is fairly large, IMO. The open world maps are humungous, but how big do you want them to be?

  • Somewhat like House Flipper but without the decorating aspect of having to add furniture, light fixtures, etc., and then selling it to the highest bidder.
  • The devs do listen to the community.
  • The gameplay accomplishments and achievements can be quite satisfying, as some of the jobs are quite large.
  • The learning curve is a little steep if you’ve never played a remodeling game before. Once you learn the key commands, however, it gets easier.
  • There are only nine monuments now, but the dev has stated in the forums that there are more to come.
  • There are a couple of bugs, which are to be expected in an EA game.

When I was a boy growing up on the farm, I never thought of chickens of being scary. Chicken Feet changed all that. I don't know what freaked me out more—Alien Isolation, where you're trying to outwit a Xenomorph, or Chicken Feet, where you're trying to outwit and outrun a giant yard bird. The sole developer did a credible job, making use of mostly free resources to create the game. When compared to big name software houses with budgets running into the millions, CF is well worth the price.

The savvy gamer can finish the game in an hour. I don't recommend it for small children, as it will most likely give them nightmares. The only complaint I have is that the chicken is a hen making rooster sounds. Still, the audio adds a lot to the scare factor. Otherwise, you just have an angry hen pecking you to death.

This game represents the Wild West fairly accurately. True to form, Rock Star has loaded it up with side missions that get the player used to the many key stroke combinations used throughout the game. There is everything, from protecting the women from nasty men to helping round up stray horses. My only gripe is the vulgarity. Games used to give players the option to filter out the language. Other than the language, RDR2 gives it to you straight outta the barrel.
