This game is such an ego booster

The recent "economy" update is the most frustrating and unsatisfying feature I've played in this game. While the economy rework by Colossal is appreciated, the way its executed is disappointing. In my experience, it is VERY DIFFICULT to start a city without seeing your balance go into debt in which becomes INCREDIBLY DIFFICULT to recover. I can't help but wonder if the devs actually play tested the update before releasing it to us. I have not much complaints with the tile upkeep tho I think it is strange with its high upkeep costs for just one tile.

I can't build a city aesthetically without awkwardly placing buildings in random locations just for the sake of increasing income, yet still see numbers going down at a relatively fast pace in which I'm so far in debt I cannot place anything that costs money. On face value, each building you place has a building cost and upkeep as we know but it does not tell you about the HIGH wages which is the culprit of high service upkeep in your city. Adjusting the budget for these buildings makes their efficiency worsen, this creates a frustrating cycle of compromise and shortfall.

Like many others, I do not recommend Cities Skylines 2. Hope that few more adjustments will be made or if someone made a mode that focuses on economy rebalancing cuz Colossal can't seem to do it right. We need a better gradual scaling of expenses that help new cities stabilise before facing the game's harsher economic realities.

So competitive, I became "slightly" toxic

Bought it on a 50% sale,
Played it on the day of purchase. Had loads of fun.
Next day, played again, lost track of time.
Played it again,
And again,
Again,
And again.

Fun so far I guess?

If you haven't got this game, you're missing out.

I'd still play this over Cities skylines 2. :>

So much fun.
Lots of funny moments.
Even better with mods.

Get it if you don't have it already!

Got some bugs that ruins the experience. (That I've experienced so far)
1. Monsters spawning next to players
2. Video not extracting
3. Getting stuck in weird places
Note that these issues have been addressed by the devs. Only a team of 5, give them props for making this game so aesthetically beautiful and engaging to play.

Regardless, the game is really fun. Give it a try even if you haven't claim the game for free on April 1. Let's not compare this to Lethal company, its inspired but are totally different in their own fields.
