It's still the same good old DDLC but now with more deep lore and wholesomeness

This season's pass leveling system is so idiotic. It makes you tryhard unrewarding quests instead of playing the game normally. Everyone is doing their own thing like opening 50 chests and then leaving the game or not helping you fight off enemies because they need to do some other stuff. It not only makes the game not fun anymore, it also requires more of your daily time, which for most of us, has already depleted due to work/school/chores. I miss the old leveling system where I could actually play the game and still gain pass levels without worrying about opening 50 stupid chests or dealing 3600 damage in one day.

Edit:
They fixed it a bit so it is again enjoyable to play this game but still, it's harder and grindier to get new levels than before and it's not good for players like me, who have limited daily time but still want to get most from the seasons. It requires us to pay more money for levels but even then grind is still needed and that kinda sucks, really

Edit 2: ok, season pass leveling has been fixed, it can be challenging but it doesn't disrupt the game and doing quests even tends to be fun

Edit 3: ♥♥♥♥ EA, Macrotransactions and their scummy business tactics

Edit 4: Also so many game breaking and match loosing bugs I just can't anymore. I won't even mention most of them were promised to be fixed. Falling through textures, walls dividing teams from eachother at last rounds, 2 seconds of not being able to move after exiting menu/inventory, server wide lags, textures bugging out, game takes forever to load or not loading at all....

What can I say, perfect mix between hilarity and feels. It has all the good stuff from its predecessor and much more, they really expanded the game in more ways than one. It still has multiplayer like the previous game so of course I made my friends play it with me. They all greatly enjoyed it even though some were sceptical at first.

10/10, fell in love with the ending animation

It's ck2 but better and with couple of ck2's dlcs from the start. I really enjoyed it, especially inner politics as they are finally fun. I waged practically no war with one of my rulers because I was so immersed. Also characters are finally diverent from each other and if you are playing good, compasionate ruler you can't just go on tyrany spree like you did in ck2. The game makes you play every ruler differently and accordingly to their personality and skills.

Edit as of 2023:
The game is being developed very slowly and the DLCs we got were good, but overpriced compared to the content within. I still do recommend, but get the DLCs when they are on a discount.

I hoped that most if not all mechanics that were introduced in CK2, like societies, bloodlines, missionaries, etc., would be eventually added to the game, but it seems unlikely now. I wouldn't mind them being added along major DLCs introducing new stuff, as there is much potential, for instance expanding the world map, expanding on animals and unique experiences for different parts of the world. For now the game is quite repetetive, playing mostly the same no matter where you play due to little to none regional flavour and very small amount of events, that tend to repeat constantly, not mentioning there isn't many events that are exclusive to certain cultures and places.

If it comes to my personal preferences, I really hope they add mystical stuff as an option as I really miss them from CK2. Becoming a immortal born-conqueror god-emperor as a bear was just something else. Also I crave more flavour for Slavic, Baltic, Ugric and African peoples, both cultural and historical. Especialy Poland, as I am polish xd
