If I could describe this game's gameplay with one word, it would be dreadful. Not because I hate the way it plays, I actually love it, but because even from tge starting prologue, you know you're not playing as some invincible action hero, you're just playing as someone who's trying to survive in incredibly harsh conditions.......

Like the description says, you're scavaging and fighting during the day, but as soon as dusk sets, you'll find yourself sprinting back to your hideout, because this game has the scariest night system I have personally experienced. You can hear the creatures walking outside looking for a way in, you can hear the cracking of wood as they try, and eventually break your barricades, you can hear their heavy footsteps as they look for a way to get to you. The game is very unforgiving because you never get to feel like a hero, I found myself cowering in fear as I uselessly used wardroves to try and cover the door at night, to keep me away from them, and literally pushing the wardrove back as they pushed it toward the room, and eventually got in.

The soundtrack is incredibly fitting and the game OOZES with atmosphere, the music that plays when you're just mere minutes away from the safety of daylight is so perfect for the situation, because you simply made it through ONE night, and managed to escape death one more time, and you gotta do it all again the next day. I really recommend this game to everyone who enjoys a survival horror experience. I know I know it's a topdown thirdperson game but it makes up for this by only showing what's inside your character's field of view, you cannot see behind you, all you see is black and white.

I think if anybody likes an alternate survival experience, and a real take on horror, they should spend 15$ wisely on this game, you surely won't regret it!

This game is incredibly fun, its a great way to kill time and it takes about 5 minutes to download! its a simple concept that is incredibly interesting with some twists thrown later on. Not to mention it has one of the best video game soundtracks I have ever heard, I think everybody should at least give this game a go!
