This is a game I keep coming back to. It's a great game to just pick up and play for the occasional session. Very few things can compare to the feeling of "mastering" a track, and seeing just how fast you can go.

That being said, I think the multiplayer experience could use a little love, specifically with private lobbies. the features when it comes to multiplayer are a little lackluster. Here's what I'd like to see for a better multiplayer experience:

  • More race modes, like last man standing or arena race -- I really like the rulesets that come with these modes, but sadly cannot enjoy them with my friends.

  • Access to the boss tracks -- Similar to my statement above, I would really like to race my friends in some of the boss tracks

  • Lobby options and rules -- The ability to restrict racing to specific point ranges, like in the career, could add a fun dynamic to play in multiplayer lobbies. This point can be worked around by just communicating with friends and agreeing on 'race restrictions', but it would still be nice to set something like this in multiplayer.

Even without the features mentioned above, Redout 2 is a great game, and the multiplayer is still loads of fun. I highly recommend this game for anyone that likes to go fast and explode.
