You should play DS1, Bloodborne, Demon Souls, DS3, and if you are still willing for DS, go Elden Ring. Then, you play DS2. The combat is awkward and badly polished, but it is fun. You should play this one last.

The action combat in this game is extraordinary, the best in this industry so far. The surgical precision in the commitments and the polished bosses' move sets make the battles challenging, memorable, and enjoyable. Regarding the story, it is set in a fictionalized Japan during the Sengoku period. All settings are stonishing fantastic, and delightful. The game also makes strong references to Buddhist mythology and philosophy. My favorite thing about these references is how they teach you to play the game. "Hesitation is defeat". Keep that words close heart. This game is a masterpiece.

Overwhelmingly huge world, astonishingly exquisite scenarios, and breathtaking main bosses. Elden Ring is a straightforward evolution of the Souls series into the Open World genre. Its world and exploration designs are strongly inspired by Zelda BotW, or it seems so, and the combat is Dark Souls 3 but more polished. It has some flaws like repetitive dungeons and bosses to just drag the game, to not mention the unbalanced character progression that puts you too stronger by exploring (thus making interesting boss fights really easily boring, even without summons or spells). Although unbalanced, multiplayer is fun.

This pack includes both Ashes of Ariandel and The Ringed City DLCs of Dark Souls 3. I recommend buying this pack instead of buying the DLCs separately since you will pay less that way.

First time playing it and I was in love with the new graphics and astonishing views. That's an exquisite game for sure. Later on, I got bored because it seemed nothing more than a pretty game with solid combat mechanics in comparison to the first game of the trilogy. Then, I found Pontiff Sulyvahn, and after that point, the game just became more and more interesting.
"DS3 got the better bosses, mobs, PvE and overall consistency throughout the game. DS1 got the better lore, level design, and world design.". I can not agree more with that quote. DS3 is the sequel DS1 deserves. Engaging lore, beautiful scenarios, amazing characters, best boss fights of the franchise (and I'm not even including DLCs, which have the best boss fights), and better PvP content. You can also visit previous locations of DS1 redesigned with new visuals. It surely has its flaws, such as too many bonfires, the early warp (fast travel system), and the bad world design that makes you feel some regions (Firelink Shrine, to name) instantiated instead of open like in DS1. I still think DS1 is better, but DS3 is a must-play souls-borne game for sure, one of the best games I've ever played.

That's the best DLC of this game, by far. The lore introduced is interesting, the additional bosses amazing, the visuals astonishing. It is a mandatory must-buy DLC. Two of the hardest bosses of the game are here and the best boss fight also.

Although quite short, the new area is as astonishingly beautiful as everything in DS3, and the main boss in this DLC is one of the best bosses in the franchise. It definitely doesn't worth the price, so you should acquire it by buying the season bundle in some good sale. Still, I recommend this one.

Although I've written the review for the Prepare to Die edition first, my first playthrough was with this Remastered version. I'll try to expand this review.

Dark Souls is not about difficult, but knowledge. You will find yourself struggling until you understand what the game expects from you and do so. Regarding to the lore and how it is share, this game is minimalist. It will not show the story to you, if you want to understand it, try read and pay attention for the ingame content.

The world atmosphere is well fit and proper gives you the right feeling you should have. I feel the OST lacky since the game has almost only environment soundtrack, but I know it is for a good reason. I just enjoy a lot a good OST. Talking about world scenarios, all areas of this game are interesting and meaningfull, and well connected. This game is just the pearl everyone say it is.

Praise the sun

The game design here is masterpiece. Most of the map is so well connected that you don't need to warp between bonfires. The game also allows you to play as you style, since all builds are viable and you can beat the first bosses in the order you prefer.

I recommend to play the Remastered version instead of the Prepare to Die one due to the better FPS and overall fixes, but if you like it I suggest trying the Prepare to Die since there are small changes in the texture that makes it more pretty although the FPS downside.
