Scratches the Diablo itch better than Diablo 4. Save your money, buy Halls of Torment.

I have a lot of respect for anybody that puts in the time and effort to make a mod of this scale but there were just so many frustrating elements that prevented me from really enjoying myself. Firstly, the puzzles are ♥♥♥♥, there's no feedback from the game as to how they work and I often ended up noclipping near the end to spare me the headache. The lighting was a big gripe for meas well, constantly switching in and out of night vision was just a pain. And last kinda leads off from my second point, there's little to no direction for the player, especially during parts where you need to back track. It's a fine effort but personally I'd hold off for your sanity's sake.

Kill every goat you see

This game is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cool. If you want an engaging solo experience or a game to play with no friends look no further than DRG, on most levels I can see this game's achieved replay value on an unprecedented scale, the procedural generation mixed with the endless character and weapon customization mixed with satisfying combat just seals the deal for me. The soundtrack also slaps way harder than it needs to it's probably my favourite aspect. In summary I'd describe this game as something like Left 4 Dead meets Minecraft meets TF2 meets Aliens Colonial Marines if it were good, mix it all together and you've got yourself a damn entertaining game.

Put simply I was blown away by Red Dead Redemption 2. I was a bit of a late adopter of Rockstar's catalogue only purchasing GTA5 a year or so ago and RDR2 a few months back and I'm amazed with what they are consistently (albeit spaced out) able to accomplish with their established formula. This game looks fantastic and I seldom used fast travel simply because of how beautiful and immersive the world was with the ambient soundtrack that sucks you into this world and the random encounters that kept things interesting as I rode. The story is where this game shines the most, I always struggle to become invested in a game's story and not many studios really know how to hit the right spots emotionally when they want to tell their story, granted it's not perfect but it's a damn near perfect game story that can be held up next to the great western films that inspired it, particularly Sergio Leone's work. I just finished the main story and I'm one part into the epilogue now, I can easily see myself playing through this again in the future. 9/10

The online is good if you can stomach griefers and have a few friends to help.
