It was only a knife in his back but he could tell who it was without even turning around. He shook his head in a terrible disappointment as his eyes watered. It could of, it should of been any other way. As the warm blood dribbled down the crease of his back he felt more then that. With the loss of blood came his loss of hope, his trust, his friendship. It was so easy to be nice that he wondered why it could not stay that way forever. He knew that answer though. Life moves on, people change and grow and twist. He collapsed to the ground in a ungraceful heap. His breathing became shallow and ragged and he coughed blood onto the dirty floor. He glanced upwards behind him to see the truth. It was himself as it always was and that hurt the most. In a world full off terrible evil and atrocity he was always his own worst enemy. He smiled in a last moment of painful truth, enjoying the slightest satisfaction of always being right in some twisted way. His eyes fluttered closed and never opened again.
