Single player needs work. The AI becomes unresponsive following orders allowing suspects to just walk up and shoot you. Ides of March really bad about this the gernade play feels bad, like its never where i expect to release from causing WAY too much FF. The AI occassionally bugs and doesn't see traps while mirroring. Suspects are way too aggressive. Penalized too harshly for death. Morale system needs to go.

I wouldn't buy it off sale.
Its just mid in every way even for an adult game it falls flat.

Buggy, but worst of all it seems to be a crypto miner. Buy at your own risk. We refunded the game.

Once devs fix the bad frame rate issue, increase stability and fix drop rate this game is going to be good.

ATM it is fun, it is more like a weird mix of Warframe, destiny and borderlands than i expected but it has been a good time. Can see me grinding more hours into this once it updates and patches.

Great main cast and a decent story ruined by bug after bug after bug after bug.

Lets just list the bugs i saw.
- I had to be bent over the entire cave section bc i'd clip onto the roof (I'm 5ft 10in)
- I had one moment my guns wouldn't reload and i had to quit app and reopen
- My left hand would constantly quit being able to grab weapons. It could still do doors and other things. but gernades and guns I HAD TO toss onto the ground. not a shelf but specifically the ground to be able to pick them up.
- the drop button doesn't work as displayed
- I had hallucinating freddies. (They would despawn randomly in fights)
- Freddies came from behind you. Like back to a wall that has no way of entry one has never came from that way and suddenly pushing you off the wall was one behind you for a cheap shot,
-they go thru doors more often than not.
-Got stuck in the radio tower had to load (twice)
-Got stuck on an empty clip, couldnt grab it either had to load.
-flashlight wouldn't turn on first time. i thought it was a fuse bc of that
- red dot sight is WAY off the iron for almost all guns

This was all in single player. Holy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ dev how did this clear the playtest cycle. I'm scared to see the 2nd game. will probably just watch a playthru.

You know who doesn't put sensitivity sliders in the setting menu?
Capcom?

You know what game always reverts settings between sessions OR straight up puts the game in random settings on boot up. Tell me why, I have never used french at all in my life has the game booted in a foreign language.

UPDATED REVIEW I'M LEAVING IT ALL UP SO YOU CAN SEE THE FULL JOURNEY AND HOW THIS GAME SHOULD BE AVOIDED AND THIS STUDIO SHOULD BE AVOIDED MORE THAN EA.


L4D2 in VR is the best way to describe this game.

Also I saw people complaining about the boss at the end of the campaign. Yes Relay Tower AND Boulevard are heavily balance to the co-op. Just queue this mission up and wait like 15 seconds someone will join.

Highly recommend this game imo it is the best VR zombie game on the market.

Edit literally a couple days later.
So...
I now have some complaints and if this happens again I may switch to a negative review.
I lost ALL attachments for my MT-47 randomly. or more accurately it switched my attachments between it and my service pistol.
Both these weapons are now built for... uh... well being ass. So i have a choice. Spend another 100k credits give or take to fix. AND THEN continue my grind for a costume. OR do I get the costume thats also 100k credits and then REGRIND what i already earned once,

This actually made me cry for acouple minutes. It was like 2 days of effort wiped instantly.

Now my other complaint is a salty gripe as well as a real complaint
Fix the AI. They are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and on chinatown it takes them 30 minutes to kill a smasher on survivor (easy) I kept it on me the whole fight and let them do damage just to see how long it would take the 3 ai... yeah.. no wonder relay tower is so hard solo.

ALSO fix the ai heal/ ammo system. I should be given ammo a little before im completely out if needed.

on the healing side here is the salty one. So I get frozen bc the vr game decided to be a vr game and not grab my sidearm to blow the gunner grip off me. whatever. JEN starts sprinting to heal me. juice in hand. Then the fight ends and i unfreeze right as she gets to me. She walks away.... So here I am 1 bar of health looking at this girl like she just insulted me.

I said a few insults at jen. and had to go smoke for a second. I had never been so done dirty by ai, Laughing now about it but in the moment i was shook!!

First match the very next day i run nightmare with randoms. We lose. In the mission I was running my service pistol (Still downgraded from what it used to be) And the LMG. Why does this matter? Well bc during the mission my MT-47 got ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ replaced with a duplicate of my service pistol.

Thats it. I'm ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ done I'm ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ done. AVOID AT ALL COSTS UNTIL DEVS FIX

YES. This hits all my zombie killing VR checkmarks.

Motion sickness however is a thing, I GOT VIOLENTLY MOTION SICK. but that is to be expected with vr to an extent. I managed ~50 minutes first session. Factory gave me no issues but the city for movement i had to immediately quit.

Will try it again after a nap and i aquire some motionsickness tablets. If i cannot do it on the next session I'd have to refund. NOT BECAUSE I DISLIKED IT but bc idk if id be able to handle getting sick like that every time

Spawn get drink dead before i get back

try to group with friends spawns us 1 hour apart

never able to stop moving bc even in buildings hidden they find you. Scout a building no zombies enter and now theres a horde outside.

Completely blocked doors, no curtains open. no way to be seen from the outside. We comeout of invisibility to instantly be found by zombies and the door busted open. Absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game I wish the devs go bankrupt
