Early Access for more than 4 years and not alot of new content and improvement. According to the frequency of game updates, the devs are very sloppy and/or not interested in this game anymore. Not recommended for now. Sorry.

Think of PUBG and GTA V but with BASE BUILDING and CRAFTING. Open world and none of that blue circle bs.
Best game in its genre, if you ask me. The only thing i find bad about this game is the toxicity of its player base. Other than that, it's worth every penny. Don't miss out on this one! ;)

If you want to die from hypertension, play this game. Used to be great but it's just sad now.

*Red alert! *Red alert! Torpedo torpedo torpedo!! Commence evasive maneuvers! First of all, don't let my hours on record fool you. I've played this game from 2007ish to 2012 and stopped for awhile due to work. Since then, I've been playing this game from time to time again and it NEVER fails to amuse me. I'm really glad this game is already in steam! It means more players will discover the uniqueness and awesome gameplay and will also keep this game alive until the end of days! This is the overall package of naval warfare! If you like Frigates, destroyers, battlecruisers, torpedo launchers, submarines, aircraft carriers, fighters dogfighting, bombers bombing and BOOMsticks(Battleships), then this is the game for you! This game is based on the world war 2 naval warfare history and not a fantasy. Each nation you choose have their own unique ships, aircraft carriers, etc. And also have their own strengths and weaknesses. Now to the gameplay. the normal battles are massive! 64 vs 64 players, 128 players in total, can play in 1 battle! Can you imagine all the chaos and mayhem and fun you're going to have!? It will take a little bit of time to familiarize yourself in the mechanics of the game but once you're there, you'll surely get addicted to it. Don't forget to ask other players ingame or in the forums for more info. This is not just another run and gun mindless game because it takes skills and strategy to play effectively. You will need to mind your gun angles when aiming and shooting your enemies. You also need to predict where the enemy is by the time your shells will land because your shells will take time to arrive there. And if that's not enough, you and your target is moving! It's a ship, silly! Ofcourse it will move! Jokes aside. To make it even more difficult, you're controlling everything while you're on battle. Literally everything! From the turret rotations, the gun angles/elevation, aiming, gun firing, ship movements, firing the anti-aircraft guns, sending scouts by airplane, dogfighting, dive bombing and torpedo bombing. Yes, you heard me right. You're not only firing at ships but also firing at scout planes, fighters and bombers trying to send you and your allies to the bottom of the ocean. That is how complicated and deep the game is. But don't worry, you will get the hang of it. ;) It's also a management game because before you start sending enemies for fish food, you get to manage your ship and your crew members in the harbor. You will get the chance to improve your ship's equipment like guns, shells, engines, radar and armor, etc. You will also get the chance to hire skilled seamen and train them to improve your overall ship's performance in battle. You can buy/sell/trade ships, crew members, ingame currency and experience points with its player trading system. The cherry to this game is the harbor assault or the game's war system. Once a week, your clan will get the chance to participate in the very strategic harbor assault and capture each nations' harbors by attacking each tile of their territories until you get to the harbor and destroy their final defense. Once destroyed, you can send land troops to capture their infrastructure. But before that, the territories and harbors are being defended by other clans who captured it on last week's harbour assault. Huge rewards and bonuses, such as ingame currency, etc. awaits you at war's end. You will also get your clan name and logo displayed on the harbor you captured for bragging rights. The game is really deep and massive! I can go on and on about it but still not enough to describe its awesomeness! You must experience and live it. Just play this game and I guarantee you that it's not a waste of you and your friends' time. Infact, your whole life is a lie until you play this game. EDIT: Don't let the negative reviews let you down. This is a free to play game. You can play without paying a single cent and you will still own other players! Believe me, my first max level battleship has a normal crew but I can still sink and own those rich m*daf**k*r* who think they are invulnerable for having bought premium items!! This is a skill based game, Not pay to win. You can still get good seamen stats ingame. And the stats is way more than enough that you don't need to buy elite seamen or sailors. I just decided to buy premium items to support and to keep the game alive because it's a shame to let it go to waste. And another tip if you really want to get premium items is you can buy it from other players in exchange for your ingame currency and exp. So it's a win-win for all. Just be careful of scammers when dealing with this kind of trade because this is a player to player understanding kind of trade. Anyway, the word about the "event" is true but don't let this judge the game. Infact, I'm not that active ingame at the moment due to work and I just happened to stumble upon it on steam. I visited their site and saw the event and I said to myself "Hey! why not I take out 2 birds with 1 stone. So I dropped a TRUE review ABOUT the game and my IGN as a bonus for the event. But please, don't let this be the cover of the book. The rest of the bad rumors I can't confirm but Ive been playing this game since its early days without any problem. The game is really beautiful and unique and a classic that I will always play until I die. Hope you will play it and love it the way I do. Btw, if you are a true gamer, the graphics won't stop you from playing this game. It really is aweseom! Cheers! :)
