I love the Aliens movies, so was really looking forward to this game. The campaign is fun the first time through, but sadly it's way too short. What makes it worse is that matchmaking can never find other players and I end up always playing with AI which are useless to say the least. AI are only good enough for Casual and Standard modes so if you want to challenge yourself on anything harder, forget about it. I joined a couple Steam groups to find people to play with but no one plays anymore. I checked the games player base and literally there is less than 100 people in the world playing per day.

I played on the new Point Defense mode today and it's basically the same as horde mode. How is that 1 new mode going to keep players entertained until the next update months away? A really poor effort in terms of content from the devs.

The only way this game can come back from the dead is to either allow mod's or create a level designer inside the game where players can build there own levels. Because at this rate, the updates are so slow, and the content is so lackluster, it's game over man, game over.

I would only recommend buying this game on a big discount.
