Great game. The graphics, gameplay mechanics and the story were enjoyable.
I think it's pretty unique, so I gotta recommend it.
If you liked it, you should also try Control.

A couple of things I didn't like:
- Videos are streamed from a server, not saved in the game directory (sometimes videos buffer)
- Could've had more than 5 acts

As an ardent Linux enthusiast, I embarked upon my Rocket League adventure with unbridled excitement. However, fate, in its peculiar sense of humor, intervened. The delectable allure of Doritos crust and the enigmatic allure of Cheeto dust overtook me, rendering my keyboard a battlefield of crumbles and chaos. The crusty aftermath was undeniable, leaving me to ponder the limits of both snacking and gaming.

But the tale does not end there, for destiny had another twist in store. As I discovered the news of EPIC Games' acquisition of the studio behind Rocket League, a tidal wave of astonishment washed over me. The weight of this revelation proved too much to bear, causing a momentary lapse in my grip on a can of Mountain Dew. Alas, my keyboard bore the brunt of the ensuing deluge, transforming from a crusty citadel to a sticky sea of caffeinated calamity.

Now, freed from the clutches of crust and mired in a keyboard reborn, I find myself able to pen this concise review. Rocket League's fate on Steam remains uncertain under the EPIC Games banner, leaving a shadow of doubt to hang over its future. The game's compatibility with Linux, alas, remains a distant dream.

Loved the game, loved the story.
A bit short, but for that price can you really complain?

This game made my dad finally love me.

Played it for close to 12 hours then everyone else stopped playing it and now it's dead.
Coincidence? Doubt it.

I wish I wouldn't have bought this terribly optimized game.

Even on 1080p without AA i can't max it without getting nasty stutters.

There's always new content coming up, and the workshop mods are just amazing.
The game was worth every penny.
In fact, it's the only thing that somehow keeps me going.

The game was great and the graphics improvements are welcome but there's still no water on planets and the netcode gets more and more rubbish.
Playing in multiplayer is hard since the server always tends to slow down even from mild activities, also it forgets to load mods.
Maybe if it would use more than 1 thread it wouldn't run horrible?
Great game in singleplayer, but I bought it for multiplayer, which for now sucks.

I initially gave this game a negative rating but I somehow always end up coming back to it, so I guess it's worth a positive rating?
I don't know. Take anything I say with a huge grain of salt.
