I think that Homeworld 3 is fantasic. The graphics are beautiful and the gameplay is fun. I think that alot of older members of the community are nitpicking the differences from original homeworld games but the truth is games need to evolve and appeal to newer generations to continue. I see nothing wrong with this game as a whole and thing alot of the stingy community needs to chill out.

Major bugs fixed. I now quite enjoy the game and it no longer crashes on me. Lets gets some helldivers!



THE PROS

Helldivers 2 is a great co-op shooter. Its a lot of fun getting to work with teammates and friends to eliminate bug or robot infested planets in the name of democracy. I think that the combat itself is pretty polished, there will eventually be meta's on what equipment and stratagems are better than others but that will be more of a focus when playing on the two highest difficulty settings. Its so much fun spreading explosive liberty with my grenade launcher and just annihilating swarms and taking out hives. Co-op game play is awesome but communication does struggle a bit as not everyone has a mic. You can avoid this by playing with your friends.

THE CONS

The reason why I am down voting this game is because of the culture of releasing broken digital games in today's time. Players such as myself are experiencing random crashes which can happen at any point even right when your about to exact. That's 40 minutes of game play i just wasted and lost all of my rewards for. This makes the game completley unplayable for a lot of the community. Currently there are also bugs that cause you to get stuck in the cry tube of a ship when joining a match. The only way to get out of this is leave the group and find a new one. Another problem is that at this current time rewards are not being distributed when you complete a match. So another waste of up to 40 minutes because you get no experience, medals, or samples that you have collected. Right now there is also problems even logging into the game for most players. Another bug is not even being able to join a match with other players. Some times it takes multiple attempts to find a match- possibly due to multiple people sending to many requests to join a match and they all get lumped into the same request and that fails over and over.

SUMMARY

All in all the game is great and I know the devs are working hard to fix the problems that the player base are currently running into and i appreciate that, but i can't accept this kind of culture when it comes to gaming. Games these days are regularly being released with game breaking problems so take my money but don't give me a working game to play. Its been 4 days since launch and a lot of the community still can't even play. Its hard to up vote this game when at the current time you cant guarantee you'll even complete a match with out crashing or get your match xp and rewards. Its just a lot of time wasted that I can't support. My recommendation to the devs would be to do larger testing before launch. I know you tested with some groups here and there but I think you should of had way larger test groups so that you can see problems with every peice of hardware that could be potentially running the game. I will 100% still be playing the game even after this review but for the current moment i am going to wait until it the bugs get fixed so I can play the game with out worry about any major problems.

Great game. Combat is fun, like Rimworld just lure everything into a killroom. Current bug Im running into is my trained animals not eating. Ive got troughs and every type of food but like 4 of my 7 my dogs are just running around attacking things and not eating the food i have with the "animals are starving" notification.

Game is awesome. Love all the regular bug fixes and recent update with reputations. Finally started a hardcore play through and it make the game so much more fun.

Great game. Building and killing mobs. Plenty of PVP on pvp servers and you can always stick to PVE servers if your not into that. Can't wait to see what this game has to offer down the road.

Amazing game. Always something to keep you busy ingame. Lots to do and build.
